The entire article was simply an exercise, nothing about it was sourced. The problem is we need to upgrade at multiple positions and the club has to decide where those upgrades might come from. If we use the draft to potentially fill a spot, they probably have to keep the current player or you might have a Cedric Ogbuehi situation where we unload a quality starter and turn the line to shit with no depth. No idea how much time Bengals coaches spend on their scouting function but scouts spend lots of time, more than 40 hours a week, writing up reports on pro or college players. Can definately see Bateman or Jenson signing to solidify it.. Pollack thinks Carman can turn the corner into another solid piece but he's not sure about when.... A mess in progress..
