I wont defend that at all. The corporations have been using that to buy back their stock and artificially inflate it's worth.

In turn you have these guys that only seem to care about their 401K and not about a healthy democracy (looking at you Gary) that seem to be a-ok with a fascist police state that is propped up to ensure the masses don't retaliate.

All of this has been entirely predictable, I have argued this was the end game for some years. @Homer_Rice seems to think it's going to end in war.

War between who exactly?

IF so I have to wonder if the banks buying up every available house will be the tipping point.  Home ownership is something most people have come to expect at some point in their lives.

I had always thought it was a proxy war between us and China until Jan 6.

Therefore I think maybe he's appealing to a bunch of racist shitheels and the "economy" stuff is just a way of justifying being a racist shitheel.  If it wasn't jobs it'd be drugs or something else.

Part of the whole Mexican prejudice does have to do with drugs, given Vance’s family history with drug addiction, which was the basis for “Hillbilly Elegy”. (Which I have not read, nor have any desire to read.)

Yeah it's kind of funny for someone from the so-called party of "personal responsibility."

I don't think a Mexican drug cartel forced them to start crushing up and snorting prescription pills at gunpoint but it's a hell of a lot easier to sell them as the villain instead of the pharmaceutical companies that are probably donating to his campaign.

Feel that in my soul.  Still kinda nice to have an answer to "Where do they find all these stupid mfers?"

Every accusation is a confession.

Both parties (Actually the DNC and RNC) have job interviews for every House and Senate seat they don’t possess.

Even if you run for a State House position you have to kiss the ring and ass of the state’s party Chairperson.   Grass roots political campaigns are pretty much a thing of the past and rare.  It is why both parties are afflicted with group think.

That is not nearly the same thing as grabbing random people that fit a demographic off a talent website and pumping them full of white supremacist talking points and Qonspiracy nonsense.

Let's not with the "both sides" equivocating.  We both know there's a glaring difference right now.  It doesn't mean the DNC is perfect by any stretch, but they're not religious fanatics and make some attempt to support equal rights vs stoking more bigotry & hate at every opportunity.  Both sides are NOT the same, that's an argument born out of either apathy or laziness.

I never equated both as the same just explaining the process.  And you are 100% wrong about the Democrat process.

AOC for example was selected by the Justice Democrats (Socialists) to run after they had a casting call.  They wanted a young female person of color and chose her.  In other words they pulled someone out of a bar that fit their demographic.   If you want to pretend she wasn’t groomed on what to say and think you are wrong.

I am not calling her out, it happens all the time with new candidates.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/aoc-actress-playing-lawmaker/

That video is BS & she was already talking about the same issues as the PAC in question long before running for office.

She was not, in other words, a high-priced escort that suddenly started talking about wildfires being caused by Jewish Space Lasers.

This is, again, a ridiculous false equivalency.

Are we suggesting the Justice Democrats are dyed in the wool state ownership of the means of production socialists or the government doing anything to help people is socialism socialists?

Because if it's the first one, you're wrong, if it's the 2nd I can't take you seriously.

Deflection.  No need to respond.

Sounds like the "free school lunches for poor kids is bad but bailing out Wells Fargo or GM while Amazon and Google evade taxes is good for my 401K" socialism.

Which still does nothing to change my astonishment that the ostensibly-Christian white supremacist far right hired actual prostitutes to repeat their batshit crazy conspiracy theories.

Seemed like a pretty clear question of definition of terms...

Nope, pure deflection.  Both the DNC and RNC groom candidates based on demographics.

“The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character, experience and integrity. And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. It's long overdue, in my view. I made that commitment during the campaign for president, and I will keep that commitment." ~ President Joe Biden.

Yes, and she will likely be someone with far more legal experience than, say, Amy Coney Barrett.  Or at the very least someone with a law degree and a long tenure as a federal judge.

She will almost certainly NOT be a high-priced call girl from a sugardaddy website.

This is not about "grooming candidates based on demographics".  (LOL!)   It's about hiring actual prostitutes to shill a hate-filled & idiotic agenda.

Again, really REALLY not the same thing.

Socialism is a scareword they have hurled at every advance the people have made in the last 20 years.

Socialism is what they called public power.
Socialism is what they called social security.
Socialism is what they called farm price supports.
Socialism is what they called bank deposit insurance.
Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. —Harry S. Truman
