Every member of Congress but one voted to release these things; they don't want it on their voting record that they voted no, it's a death wish politically. Do you think if the impeachment of Bondi and apparently Todd Blanche (her deputy) are on the chopping block any of the Congress are going to defend them? Especially if its being written up by both a Republican (Massi) and a Democrat (Khanna)?

I'm not sure their jobs are safe. The question for me is do they have the time to delete things, and is there anyone in the justice department even low leve, that may have access to these that might put a copy away for safekeeping until there is no chance at retribution (meaning Trump is out of power)?

Assuming you're right, what does that get us other than a new Pam Bondi? She's a pawn for him to sacrifice, like everyone else around him.

Trump will be "out of power" when he's either dead or dragged out kicking and screaming. He clearly has no intention to leave peacefully.

I have no expectation he gets removed, the process to get these things fully released us likely going to take too long for that. But even so there are alot of powerful people in these documents. I dont think this is going away.

I'd say their value as evidence was lost as soon as he was allowed to order the FBI & DOJ to tamper with them. The bigger issue now is that we have an FBI & DOJ that can openly tamper with evidence. The idea that this same federal justice system is going to do anything worthwhile going forward seems ludicrous given the circumstances.

Well Bondi and Patel are the ones overseeing this declassification so no I disagree that its a Red Herring. Sure they likely have marching orders, but its much easier to go after the two of them in this way so that Cheetolini cant just pardon them, and we have a better chance at getting the files properly unredacted.

Sure, it's easier, but what does that ultimately accomplish? Everyone in his administration is disposable, same as his first term. He will feed them to the wolves one by one while he continues selling out the office to the highest bidder. We're ignoring the absolutely horrific content of this shit in a squabble over the manner in which it's being released. The cover-up has been obvious and ongoing for years. This is all nothing but their next delaying tactic and it's working as intended.

Im not sure what you are getting at, how exactly knowing that Bondi and Patel are delaying do you get these things actually released without going after Bondi and Patel?

That this is going nowhere slowly. The circumstances alone should've ruined all these people back in '08 when Epstein was prosecuted the first time. It's no longer about what can be proven in court and Congressional hearings. It's about what we've decided to tolerate as a society. This mess, J6. Instead of correcting it severely we doubled down, now the whole apparatus is starting to fall apart around us, faster every day as a cabal of robber-barons loot everything they can touch.
