He is. Which is why they need to get him signed.

Could not agree more.  Waiting for Carman to come around is like waiting for John Ross and/or Chris Perry to get and stay healthy.  None of them made significant contributions to their teams much less Super Bowl contenders.

Can't hold the team back waiting for Fat, Drunk and Stupid Flounder Carman to wake up and smell Joe Burrow's jock strap.

The Cappa news shows the vulnerability of the OL unit, as it puts Adeniji back on the field. I think Cappa should be ok in a month though.

However, the Bengals might want to look at trading Bates for a 2nd rd pick and startable guard (6th OL) to sure that up. Especially as the secondary sounds strong already even without Bates.

We knew going in that when you add Free Agents to the O-Line, you never get what you pay for.  It's why we signed three players...one will meet expectations, one will be below expectations and one won't play (or combined the three miss enough time to count for a season's worth of games.).  And, actually, we signed four, as TE is a O-Line spot.

The over-commitment to FA at the O-Line position is an emphatic statement that we won't go into Game 1 without a complete O-Line to protect Burrow.  We can still add another FA between now and then,.....if necessary.  We will be a Top-10 O-Line next season, and possibly Top-5 by the time the playoffs begin.  There will be at least two new Linemen starting every game who didn't start last season.

And, there's this:

Give a great O-Line Coach great talent, which we just did, and he'll form that group into a unit that can force their will against their opponents.  Defenses can know what's coming and we're going to do it effectively anyway.  And, if you try to get tricky, Joe Cool will tear you apart with his intelligence and skillset.

Good lord. Volson is enormous.

Well it was reported he got his workouts in by lifting stuck trains off of the train tracks (family business in rural North Dakota). The true definition of "country strong".

That is a good video.

Really like how likable those guys are.

Pretty whiz poor portions and only one cheese coney.

Hope they got seconds, etc.

Gold Star is now coming out with a Cordel Volson Four Way.

Chili, spaghetti, cheese and glass.

I acually liked how large Volson looked in the chili video ... Very broad shoulders (built like Michael Myers from Halloween)

It must be the angle cuz he makes Carter look like a kicker.
