That was the only disadvantage of having a long snapper competition in the preseason. If there had not been a competition for Harris to keep his job, then Wilcox would have gotten more practice reps at long snapping in case of emergency. But those non-Harris practice snaps went to the long snapper who began the season on the practice squad. Just a weird, incredibly unlikely scenario that unfolded at the absolute worst time possible.

thats not how wilcox himself explained it. if there wasnt a competition it would just be the one long snapper doing it all. Wilcox stated himself that he had been a backup long snapper and college and never really practice it much and if they did it was for punts, and they stated last year Uzomah was the back up long snapper, the long snapper competition was two guys who only play that position, its not like if there was only one, and the combo having a punter battle required the extra snaps, wilcox was doing TE drills and teams drills, its not like he was standing around getting nothing done cause we had two long snappers. he, himself, after the game, said its basically not practiced because long snappers never get hurt really.

Joe Brady (Burrows LSU QB coach) should be in Cincinnati, not Buffalo ...

how many superbowls have they gone to together?

The Bengals showed last year that you beat him with 3 man rushes, and drop everyone else back ... Not blitzing him

yea it seems the top QBs are smart and quick enough to burn a blitz often, which is a wild trend people dont talk about really. please blitz joe. PLEASE.

How many of Micah Parson and Alex Highsmith's sacks came against Joni Williams and La'ell Collins?

half of parsons, all 3 of highsmiths were on the bengals but im not sure who got them i recall one of joe scrambling and highsmith catching from behind, so i dont think PFF gives either palyer the sack in that case. but yea parsons did the exact same thing to the first team he played.

also highsmith lost watt on the other side so now they just need to stop him, id have loved to have that situation all game.

The NFL on Tuesday suspended Bobby Hart for one game after the Buffalo Bills guard allegedly punched a Tennessee Titans coach in the head on Monday.

The league announced Hart's suspension in a memo that includes a letter from NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan addressed to Hart. Per Runyan, Hart sought out an unnamed Titans player near the tunnel following Buffalo's 41-7 win Monday night. Hart then swung at the Titans player and instead struck an unnamed Titans coach in the head, according to the NFL.

Bobby whiffs again... :24:

Bobby Hart, Buffalo Bills offensive lineman, suspended for hitting Titans' coach in head

Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Bobby Hart was suspended without pay for one game Tuesday night "for violations of unsportsmanlike conduct rules" for swinging at a Tennessee Titans player after his team's Monday Night Football win and hitting a Titans' coach in the head.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported via Twitter that Hart plans to appeal the suspension.

Hart, who started 45 of his 46 games with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2018 to 2020, spent part of last season with Tennessee. The Titans waived him in November, and the Bills signed him four days later. He's in his second season with Buffalo.

In a letter to Hart, NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan wrote: "As both teams were heading to the tunnel, you walked directly across the field to seek out your opponent. You approached him near the end zone and a coach had to hold you back as others shook hands. Once you and your opponent were in the end zone near the tunnel, you confronted him and immediately swung at him with a closed fist, striking the head of a Tennessee coach. Your aggressive conduct could have caused serious injury and clearly does not reflect the high standards of sportsmanship expected of a professional."

Don't know why, but I have a sneaky suspicion that he swung at C.J. Yourmama for trash talking him.

Just sounds too perfect.  Like missing the guy he was supposed to hit.

And if I just started a rumor... good on me.
