They cut that guy? Lets get him

Wait.... "We are thin at WR?"

Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?  Our top 3 WRs include a pair of WR1s and a WR2, while IMO dudes like Taylor, Thomas and Morgan, who are likely to make our roster as return specialists would be WR3 starters on more than half of other teams.

You would be wrong on that. None of them are good enough to start in the league....maybe Taylor but that's pretty unlikely. They have their roles but we don't have a great 4th guy actually good at catching the ball if one of the top three goes down.

Tate sucks.  He’s slow and doesn’t get separation.  Only thing he can do is go straight up and catch balls over people. A backup WR has to offer more than that.  Guy is fools gold.

Agree.  And unlike fine wine, Tate hasn't aged well.

Actually, if he was all that to begin with, we would have tried harder to keep him.

I actually am pretty happy with our backup WR's and think we already have a problem with letting any of them go.  The two Trent's are pretty good slot guys...Lassiter and Pryor, although only tested against backups, look really promising as backup 1's/2's...and Morgan is a ST monster and not a bad WR to boot.  Oh and I forgot Thomas who's pretty versatile.  I really, really, really liked Tate when he was here and kept hoping he'd amount to something...he flashed at times but he really never did consistently...so it's a "no thanks" for me.

However, I do agree it would be nice to see a TE #3 step up or get a better option from outside.

I both agree and disagree with this. Nonoe are stars, but i think youre under the impression anyone has 4th WR's better than the guys listed. if we lose jamarr we are fucked no matter what, if we lose boyd plug in taylor and use the TE more. there isnt a scenario where there is a 4th WR on the market thats going to plug n play and help the team much, IMO.

Morgan is a team and teammate favorite, he isnt going anywhere, Taylor is a ST and package guy, he is on the team, and Thomas is a ST guy so he is ST coaches pick. unless we carry a 7th, those 6 are set in absolute stone.

yea only use i see for tate is if we carry a 7th WR and use him in the redzone only.

I still goof on the idea of Carman for Leatherwood or Deadwood for Leatherwood.

true...

"fully guaranteed salaries in 2022 ($1.3M), 2023 ($2M) and 2024 ($2.6M), plus a decision on whether to pick up a fifth-year option in 2025.”

But Flounder's contract would chip away at that and I dare say losing Huber would be a few shackles, too,

Probably another vet to two could go.

Won't happen but I think it would be intriguing.  Of course, Las Vegas may not want Flounder, either.

Before I opened it, I thought this was going to be a thread about the Bills' rookie punter. 😆

Former rookie punter.

Rape a teenage and give her an STD.

What a POS who ruined his life for... well, for what he did.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh doesn't pick him up.

I would take this in a heartbeat.

Flounder won't even make the gameday roster (top 8 OL). Leatherwood might be salvageable still.

Sunday AM

Not sure what showed on TV (better eyes than I) but I saw him give up a sack.

Seemed to make initial contact, defender simply stepped back and ran around him.

Flounder was completely clueless.

And had a holding penalty.

If he wasn't a second round draft pick he would be on the bubble to go when

a better O lineman becomes available from some other team.

Not impressed with Prince nor Adeniji, either.  Mediocre at the best of times

and I see no improvement from pervious years.

football fans be having some wild ideas, some dude on twitter today, touted some star lineman who was undrafted and cut in the first round of cuts last week.

man there is a drought on good linemen, only the top 1/3rd of starting linemen are any good, its not like those teams are cutting guys better than there backups, and if i team, somehow, has a pile of great lineman, theyd be traded for, they wouldnt be released, like the price hill deal.

now cap cuts are another thing.

but im not seeing many, if any, roster cuts that arent 100% a money cut, breaking into this roster anywhere.

kind of nice not to be exciting for table scraps and a bummer it makes this part of the preseason kind of boring.
