I'm of the belief that a historical order should be in place. Earlier generations first.

Fulcher and Krumrie ...

Before Boomer, Willie, and Chad.

My exact vote. Both players had a huge following that should be acknowledged.

I voted JB and Chad but that was without enough thought put into it... JB was my first favorite Bengal that I remember :)

I am really torn, love Krumrie and Fulcher and heard so much about Parrish, this he deserves consideration....

I can't remember when the vote comes out.... I thought it was closer to the start of the season....

Voting is now open:

The same 13 finalists from 2022 make up the 2023 ballot.  No new names were added this year to replace last year's enshrinees.

Worthy list..

No qualms with any being honored..

I push for Krumrie and Brooks now but no objections to any of these Bengal stars..

Scrapping the bottom of the barrel with these pathetic set of nominees.

Boomer?  One good year?  One epic shitty Super Bowl appearance.  11-25 with 0 TDs?   Comical.

can't wait for 10 years from now when stupid fans want The Dullton in the Ring.

That being said I would vote for Dillon and that's it.  He was every bit as good as Bettis, just played for a crappier team, with a crappier OL, and didn't get to face the Bengals defense twice a year.

The fact that people actually think Boomer is worthy shows the ignorance of this fanbase.

One way to look at it is that the Ring should obviously honor Pro Football HOF members and then people who came close or those that had special contribution to the team's history.

Dillon was close to the HOF.  Boomer was never.

Inaccurate. There are a good many teams with ROH that have guys on them that are not HOF'ers but were some of the better players they had on the teams for various eras.

Of course your the same guy who didn't even think we should have a ROH, so .....

Personally, I’d go with Krumrie and Dillon this round.

Krumrie was great for 2 years.  That puts him in the top 10 of Bengal defenders of all time given how pathetic our defense typically is, but Ring of Fame?

Comical.

Might as well nominate Carl Pickens while we are at it.

I mean it's the Ring of HONOR ... not the Ring of TALENT

So it depends how a fanbase defines "Honor".

If you just wanted a wall with all the Bengals who put up the best seasonal stats or made the most Pro Bowls a team could have that ... but a Ring of Honor to me is something different.

It is for players that the fan base feels left an impact on them personally, the team, the city, and the organization's legacy. It is a place to "honor" players that helped define what an organization is. So guys like Fulcher and Krumrie to me are just as deserving as someone with as many Pro Bowls as AJ Green.

Thanks!  That's all the endorsement most of us will need to vote Krumrie in.

Do you know Jim Cramer by any chance?
