Saturday January 7 4:30

Goooooo Las Vegas Sois

beat the Chefs.

At Las Vegas.

Sunday January 8

Go Us beat the Rats

and I sooooo hope it isn't a Sunday night game.

BTW, long range Sunday weather high of 47, Low 34 Mostly

overcast with a 20% chance of rain.  Not bad for January and

good weather to kick some Rat ass.

Rest or play for 2 seed??

Good question..

That is a good question.

Esp seeing the Rats bait and cheap shot the Squeels last night.

Like pulling Hayward down into the pile for the bogus call against him.

Injuring someone would work to the Rats benefit since it is possible we meet again down the road

in the playoffs.

The hell with resting...if there is any chance at the 2 Seed. Two home games in the bag--maybe three--is a plum prize.

I'd hate to play the 49ers.  Bosa would be a major problem and I don't know if I can stomach 2 weeks of SB 16 & 23 highlights.

As long as they don't show the Krumrie injury it's all good. I still remember his leg in the air and the ankle wiggling back and forth like it was not attached.

If the 2-seed is in play (if they win tonite) it is not remotely a question. They play for the 2.  Not even a second thought.

Exactly. Last year the 2 seed ended up with homefield advantage when we beat the Titans. We go for as high of seed as we can.

I'd be a little more optimistic if Awuzie wasn't gone for the season, but there are other issues that probably aren't going to get fixed until the off-season (if even then). I see 9-8 as a best-case, but 8-9 or 7-10 as more likely.

Here's the best-case, but I don't think all five of the potential wins will happen. Don't underestimate the ability of this 2022 team to disappoint.

CAR - W, if they lose this one, forget it

@Pit - W, but it won't be easy with Watt coming back

@Ten - L

KC - L

CLE - W, surely they can finally break the losing streak to Cleveland, right?

@TB - W, if the free fall continues for the Bucs

@NE - L

BUF - L

BAL - W, only if Baltimore rests their starters

I need to do a self-own here. I really do know how to predict Bengals games. Happy to be wrong, though.
