A cigars and champagne New Years Eve celebration in the locker

room after eliminating the Kansas City Kermits...

I kinda like the idea.

I say put that shit away until they win something other than a regular season game. Eliminating the chefs would be nice though!

That’s a direct result of the Bengals not being settled at RT. 100%.

You think the Browns made a trade just to potentially beat a team they play twice a year? What about the other 15 games on the schedule..are they going to make customized trades from them as well?

Why is that?  The Bengals have been unsettled at both tackles for years.  They finally have a good LT.  One step ahead of where they have been.

Browns acquire ZaDarius Smith

trade with Vikings..

11.3 mil 1 tear deal..

Their outside pass rush just gi2t scary.

I wonder if these are the types of deals we could make if we didn't have Mixon's contract on the books.  Or even if we would make these types of deals.  You lose a late round pick for a one year rental that could help you win a Superbowl.  Seems worth it.

… which is potentially replaced by a compensatory pick anyways.

Although he’s coming up on the max years in league for that part of the compensation formula.   I don’t remember if it’s 8, 9, or 10 years in the league.

***** This is exactly why they did it.  Trying to exploit what they perceive as a Bengal weakness.

Yes.  Beating the top team in the division twice will go a long way to getting them in the playoffs and keeping us out.

If the Bengals do not find a solution to the question mark at ORT we currently have.

Getting someone in the backfield that can block and keep Joe Burrow from getting cheap shotted would help

a lot, too, and that leaves out Joe Sixgun.

And this guy will help win a few more of their games too.

This is what hubby and the son are hoping for. Browns are going all in this year before they have to gut the team to pay Watson in future years.
