Keeping our enemies close: 2023

Recommended Posts

The Pittsburgh Stealers have released outside linebacker Jamir Jones, the team announced on Wednesday.

The move comes as a surprise, as Jones had been an exclusive-rights free agent earlier this offseason and the team chose to offer him a one-year contract tender. Jones re-signed with the team on Feb. 27.

Jones, 24, had been the team’s fourth outside linebacker in 2022 and with No. 3 Malik Reed not re-signed, seemed poised to reprise that role in 2023.

The one thing the NFL structure does insure is profitability.  Literally Federal Reserve printing presses. It’s why nobody with real money would waste it buying the Reds. They will never be competitive with a payroll 25% of the Mets.

The fact Washington hasn’t been competitive for years is utter incompetence.  It is almost impossible to not make the playoffs every 3 years. 44% of the teams make the playoffs every year.

Honestly, It's an upgrade for them. Although I do wish they had incorporated the state flag, thought that was a cool element..maybe they'll release a throwback at some point. Also don't understand why they'd put "ARIZONA" on the chest of the home uniforms and not the away?

The NFL has come down hard on five players for violating the league’s gambling policy, suspending three players indefinitely and giving two others six-game suspensions.

"Quintez Cephus and C.J. Moore of the Detroit Lions, and Shaka Toney of the Washington Commanders, are suspended indefinitely through at least the conclusion of the 2023 season for betting on NFL games in the 2022 season," the NFL said in a press release. "These players may petition for reinstatement at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

The league also suspended Lions wide receivers Stanley Berryhill and Jameson Williams for six games.

Umm.... maybe because there are so many snowbirds from the north and illegals from the south that the team needs to reminds their home crowd where they are?

Maybe?

Eh, I got nothing.

The AFCN will be the toughest division

In the NFL..

The Bengals are primed to go to the SB...

Its all there ..

The Browns  have no big weaknesses aside from.interior DT..

The Stealer Inbreds have an imposing defense.

The need to establish.a  forcefull oline once again is imperative as they have 3 early picks to do just that..

The Ravens with or without Jackson

have a solid team. to upset any team ..

Going  12-5 will be a huge chore to accomplish in this division..

Just 4 nasty physical teams that despise each other.
