  • BlackJesus changed the title to Zeke considering the Bengals ???

Zeke would be the Perine replacement, not a Mixon replacement. He'd probably not get much more than 200 carries for the Bengals. We'd still take a rookie in the 2nd to 4th rounds. So if we sign Zeke for 4 mil or thereabouts and cut Mixon, it would be fine. But we don't need 2 expensive RBs.

Personally I would sign Zeke to a 2 year, 8 million deal (4 per) - 1/3 of what Mixon is making this season and then tell Mixon he can restructure from 12 down to 6 if he wants to stay on the team (or he gets cut). That way, Mixon is basically paying Zeke to join the team and we're getting both for cheaper than even Mixon right now.

I also predict Zeke will be drawn by the "star factor" in Cincy as he wants some of that Shiesty Instagram magic and to be on a perennial winner. Plus it's a college homecoming for him.

So I would predict Cincy is first on his list right now.

dont need him. of course he wants o come to a winner, and maybe once we have a offensive line that can actually block we can stop having to have running backs that are better at pass protecting then running the ball.

Hey better a RB that is good at blocking than a RB that only seems to be good at living a Taliban warlord lifestyle 😆

And at 1/3rd the price? No-brainer.

Again, IF Zeke's healthy.

All depends on his health but LOL at the idea we need him to "help beat the Chiefs" that we are 3-0 against in games where the refs don't give them do-over downs.
