a bit about anthony edwards.

 

this kid can fucking BALL. he is as talented of a scorer as anyone in the league and he has all phases of the offensive game locked in, he is DEADLY from 3 and not just post up, he can ISO and hit a 27 foot step back, he is fast as hell in space, and quick in the paint, and he elevates faster than anyone i have ever seen.

 

he is a student of the game, works on his flaws, his GAME is mature beyond its years. he, however, is not.

 

he did the de-generation X wrestling "suck it" to the suns in a win vs them last round, last year when he missed a game winner he ran straight to the tunnel and threw a chair in the tunner which hit a female stadium employee, and last night in the loss he went walking away from his bench after the game trying to engage the nuggets in trash talk, trying to hype HIMSELF up, everyone ignored him, after wards he was asked about it and said he was telling murray some shit, and said "we love__ i love that stuff" which makes me think his teammates do not approve of his shit talking. he said "i think he heard me" when asked if murray responded, which is pretty awkward. he is just having a one sided shit talk session to hype himself up. and the nuggets are veterans and oblivious to his silliness.

 

he is getting better at it but still has some hero-mentality, if they are down 6, he will think like we all did as a kid in the gym, i just gotta hit these two amazing 3 pointers and we are tied up! and takes a contested 27 footer with 15 seconds left on the shot clock. like alright man now we are up 8.

 

he is like 22 years old so he will be good.

 

he also fucks instagram models and gets them pregnant and gives them $100,000 to have abortions. which is my focal point in any trash talk with wolves fans. it tends to theow them off and they calm down.

 

Mike Conley - I really like mike conley, former OSU buckeye. i have hated the teams he has joined, jazz and wolves, he is talentedreliable vet, great mentor for edwards. he is cash money if open. his knees however are about 10 years older than he is. he plays the first 5-7 minutes of the game, when he comes out HE GOES TO THE LOCKER ROOM for knee treatement, and stays in ice packs and IR wraps any second he isnt in the game. he is literally playing until the wheels fall off. props to him for that, but man i feel bad for him. never a champion, should have joined the nuggets. 

 

Rudy Golbert. skipped game 2 to be there for his kid being born. fair enough, but i think this fucked the nuggets they had a game plan for the rudy led defense and switched and counters, and instead has Nas Reid, who is a monster, and the opposite of Golbert, hits threes, fast active on defense. so i think we may ahve one the slaughter of game 2 had they had rudy, which sould strange but we were lost, and we are never lost like that.

 

they also benched rudy to end the 4th game, they are confused how to use him, Jokic embarasses him 1 on 1, and if you need help jokic is hitting the open guy so what ya gonna do?

 

the nuggets are the best team in the playoffs right now, the timberwolves are the second best team, the mavs are the 3rd best team. the celtics are 4th, no one els really matters.

 

whoever wins the nuggets wolves series SHOULD win the trophy, but i could see the mavs giving the wolves a run for their money, but i think the celtics can beat the mavs, i dont think boston can beat denver or minnesota.

got us good, the one characteristic i dont like about this team is when its an obvious bad plan, jokic is like "fuck this im not gonna go all out to lose by 15 instead of by 30" and goes on cruise control. and the team follows.

man looking back able to reflect on the season and the playoffs, they fucked up, ran out of gas, and it cost them a ring, they beat the mavs and they beat the celtics if they get past the wolves. but they got dinged up in the lakers series and were gassed from trying for the 1 seed the last 2-3 weeks of the season. this is a mike malone flaw, being the 3-4 seed and having a healthy squad probably would have earned a sweep of the lakers, and winning at least one of the first games against the wolves at home which likely swing the series to nuggets in 6. too bad.. it just shows how fragile and unique and rare title runs can be.

 

now they have salary cap issues creeping up, KCP is a player option who will opt out to get a longer better deal, so if he return theyll be in the secobd apron of cap hell in the NBA, which CAN over time make you lose draft picks, downgrades all 1st round picks to the end of the round, limits signing free agnets, even buy out contracts who can make league minimum, cant trade draft picks aside from rare occasions, like draft day, etc.

 

with KCP they are over the 2nd aprob by 7-8 mil, without his deal they are under by 7 mil.

 

Nnaji, bench guy, makes 8mil, so trading him for a draft pick on draft day MIGHT get you under the apron, Murray is due for a renewal, after the season next year, they can do it this year, he is a max guy so itll go up.

next year the cap goes up 15 mil, so if they can avoid the apron this year, they should be fine next year, if they go into this year, they NEED to get out of it next year. the penalties hit hardest if you are in it 3 of 5 sasons. thats when the picks get demoted and forfeited. none of the owners care about the money and tax fees, its roster building that killed off.

 

the nuggets owners own the avalanche, rapids, mammoth, the LA rams, and are from the walmart fortune by marriage. the money means nothing to them.

they also won a champion 3 years in a row, rams, avs then nuggets.
