I'm waiting for an article or at the very least pics of Cordell Volson coming in to the stadium on game days.

Not likely at home games, he's usually running late from his shift as a Gate C turnstile.

Levying fines for uncalled penalties that would've changed the outcome of a game..  Classic.

"A fine is just a price".  $20k for a win seems like a bargain.

Former Bengals player arrested for assault, more after Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight

Wait. for it... wait for it...

ARLINGTON, Texas (WXIX) - Former Bengals player, Adam “Pacman” Jones (surprise!!), was arrested Saturday morning and charged after attending the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, The Athletic reports.

According to court documents, Jones was arrested by the Arlington Police Department and booked on charges of public intoxication, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and evading arrest.

The Athletic reports that Jones was involved in a fight at the bar in the “Live! by Lowes” hotel near the AT&T Stadium just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

An off duty officer was reportedly notified of the altercation and separated Jones from the other individuals involved.

Jones continued to approach and engage while separated and ended up in a second fight, after which, he was arrested, The Athletic reports.

During his arrest, Jones reportedly slipped his cuffs and began walking away until more officers came to assist.

Court documents show that his bond is currently set at $319.

TMZ reports that a representative for Jones says the former NFL player "adamantly denies the allegations and looks forward to explaining the truth when the time comes."

Maybe the GB legal team can chime in here but I think that will make this a hell of a lot worse for him - 2nd degree felony in Texas according to the interweb.

He probably got baited but they didn't even arrest him until he kicked off a 2nd time.  Sounds like he had the opportunity to walk away but who really knows. I have about equal faith in his narrative and Arlington PD's.

Not familiar with TX law…but it appears to be “resisting arrest”. That is not a biggie here…misdemeanor catagory, depending on the type of “resisting” involved. Doing a Houdini with cuffs isn’t the same as using then on a cop’s noggin

Saw a separate charge for "escaping custody"... plus he hit a cop, so if they've got that on video he's probably cooked.

That’ll do it. Got the Daily Double…easy felony.

In Florida you have, "resisting arrest without violence," (which would seem to be the case in this situation), in Florida anyways, and

"resisting arrest WITH violence.  That one also comes with a battery/assault on a LEO charge.  (LEO=Law Enforcement Officer).

Just saw this after I posted so scratch the, "which would seem to be the case in this situation," part.

I'm waiting for an article where ANY Bengal player shows up to the stadium on game day against a team that isn't in last place!

Bengals' defensive starter likely out for the season, per report

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A struggling Bengals secondary will now likely have to play the season without one of their starting defensive backs.

DJ Turner II “is likely out for the season,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport posted Monday on X.

The worry, according to Rapoport, is that Turner suffered a fractured clavicle during Sunday’s heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Turner is getting a second opinion on the injury, Rapoport did say.

Bengals claim CB on waivers amid wave of injuries

With two of their two cornerbacks now lost for the year, the Cincinnati Bengals looked to the waiver wire for help ahead of Week 12.

There, the Bengals claimed Marco Wilson after his release by the New England Patriots, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Wilson, a fourth-round pick in 2021 by the Arizona Cardinals, joined the Patriots on waivers in December of 2023. He’s played in 54 career games with three interceptions.

The Bengals are desperate for help at corner after finding out DJ Turner suffered a season-ending injury in Week 12. Dax Hill suffered a season-ending injury earlier this season and the last remaining starter, Cam Taylor-Britt, has been massively struggling.

With the Bengals on bye, Wilson has a week to get into the system and provide some important depth.

Tee'd Off...

“I don’t think we need to change nothing,” Higgins said during postgame interviews via Mike Petraglia. “We're playing hella good football. If you look at the stats, both sides of the ball, like today, we played hella good football. I don’t know what it is, man. We just got to finish. That’s the word. That is the word for the week: Finish the f*****g game. (that's four words but we'll let that slide)

“So as long as we do that, we’ll be alright. I’m gonna look past this one. Obviously, it’s a tough loss. Hats off to those guys over there. Ain’t gonna discredit them. They played a hell of a game. We just got to go back, figure it out, and come back next week, two weeks, and finish.”

In a surprise move, the Seattle Seahawks have made a former Buffalo Billslinebacker available for hire in the middle of the 2024 NFL season.

The Seahawks (4-5) have released Tyrel Dodson. The 26-year-old only signed in Seattle this past offseason after his 2023 season in Buffalo ended and he became a free agent.

Most interestingly, Dodson made 71 tackles for the Seahawks defense, a team-high, and he also totaled two sacks, two pass breakups, and five tackles for loss ... and while he was released, he started all nine games for the team this year.

We're OK at linebacker but is this guy better than Bachie or Njongeta (who I like).

Whattaya think, Vern?

This screams locker room problem.  The guy expects to start as well.  No way.

Albert Breer Gives Bengals Fans A Brutal Reality Check

“I’m gonna come pretty hard on this one.” Breer responded. ”I think the Bengals would be insane to move on from Zac Taylor. Based on what he’s accomplished there, based on the fit he is for their franchise. "

"I also don’t think coaching has been the problem… I think the Bengals need at the highest level to reinvest and really start to go all in. I’m not just talking about player spending… You know I think that so much of this is going to come back to their ability to draft and develop…"
