Bengals Mandatory Minicamp - June 11 through June 13 -

^ Belicheat's downfall began with losing Brady, but was capped off by letting Karras walk. Trent Brown basically hinted as much himself, that losing Ted unraveled NEs offensive line and locker room.

Their loss was our gain.

... That's actually Sheldon Rankins, wearing Reader's old #98 (who is now in Detroit).

Ack!  I should have known and someone should have told Siri.

Rankin should have been here in mini camp

^ The wait sucks, but giving Burrow 6 weeks to get his wrist right is exactly what we need.

The wrist that is totally fine and 100% with absolutely no issues.

I'd be less concerned if they'd said he was taking it slow from the beginning of OTAs instead of all the happytalk bullshit.

Can't trust anything from this FO. Guy could be missing an arm & leg and they'd call it "experiencing some soreness".

So far as I can tell, no one with the Bengals have ever said his wrist is 100% fine with absolutely no issues. The coaches literally said Burrow would be taking it slow in OTAs and then later in training camp - and guess what - he has.

Burrow himself says he has good days and bad days. He also said he could not find another QB anywhere, pro or college, that has ever had this particular injury to his throwing arm.  So while I think everyone has signaled that they remain hopeful for a full recovery - is there where the "happytalk bullshit" comment is coming from? - no one can know for sure because the injury apparently has never happened to a QB before.  Therefore there cannot possibly be a 100%  conclusion about total recovery for Burrow can possibly be drawn. This is all unchartered territory.

Burrow's specific injury is uncharted territory but the Bengals spinning injuries isn't. Remember Richie Braham's bone bruise?

^ I've heard Burrow's injury described by one doctor as the "ACL of the wrist". Thankfully he already showed he can overcome an ACL tear in his knee and take the team to the SB the next season after injuring it.

But later Burrow admitted he was not 100% until the following season (2nd year after). I think this injury will be the same. I don't think Burrow will be fully 100% until the 2025 season. But think he can still win the Super Bowl now this season at his 85%.

Thankfully Burrow's best attribute is his brain, which can't be injured from a sack. For instance, Zac described his ability to process the entire field in the last press conference as "Remarkable", and that hasn't changed.

As long as Burrow's wrist works and doesn't tear again, the team should be fine and able to win, even if he's sore and having bad days.

That's a classic, I always remember Chris Perry's "abdominal strain" which had him on and off IR for weeks.

Playing piano ,I believe is for flexibility  in his wrists etc. therapeutic Mozart burrow. I would not allow him to be seen on hard knocks. That’s why Higgins signed early to be on hard knocks I believe

It's in season hard knocks, not training camp, it premieres in december. Maybe we get training camp clips? I cant say I have ever watched the in season version.

Tua’s history suggests otherwise.  ☹️
