The only thing standing between me and his wife was Governor DeWine.

Those are great photos, something to treasure. Photos with celebrities would mean much more to me than an autograph ever could.

Voelker strikes again... its a beauty..... not mine, lol

This one is sweet

If there was ever a Bengal jersey more perfect, it was the “Flying Tiger” ones from the later ‘90’s.

The ones pictured—and the home version (which I have)—were made by Wilson. Reebok made the other years IIRC.

I may eventually divest my few remaining Bengal jerseys…but never my Wilson Flying Tiger one. Never.

The white on white (pictures above) are absolute beauties. I didn't even notice the Wilson logo.

I am privy to the 2003 season however (made by Reebok) because of the introduction of the black on black, which is just absolutely gorgeous, please excuse the water marks

This also makes me wonder, had the Bengals not gone through that awful redesign with the white side panels (popular at the time), what the orange leaping tiger prototype jersey would have looked like on the field

!. i dont know why there is a fork on my floor, i did just knock that empty bottle over putting th ejerseys down tho..

my mess and pasty legs aside..

shoutout to bengals fans for being too scared to bid on Higgins game jersey before his extension.. so i got it for about $2,000 cheaper than the last one sold for a few months ago.

jenkins cost nothing basically. love the offseason when fans are throwing tantrums over something.. auctions are dry..

working on a margus hunt game worn for $105 right now as well. might lose out on it but its a win so far.

From BengalsJim:

"1999 Gameday Program from the last game at Riverfront Stadium. 44-28 good guys! Corey Dillon had 28 carries 192 yards and 3 TD's."

Was there, of course. Never did do what I wanted to do: tear out my seat which I had places my backside in for 16 years previously.

Would have been arrested. They still used the place for the Reds for 2 more seasons.

Was really weird seeing GABP taking out part of Riverfront while under construction

What was your seat number?

Section 326 Row 18, Seat 12 (as memory serves me).

I know someone who has a few old Riverfront seats...if he has a seat back with the #12 would you be interested?

I was 215 row 5 seats 3-4

Ironically, PBS is 215, row 15 seats 2-3 (end seats, there is no 1)

Virtually the same seat and view of the field.

Serendipity.

It would be red in color, I presume?

Interesting proposition. Feel free to PM me the details

If GAB has the same lifespan as Riverfront, it will be used for nine more seasons after this one and then will be imploded. We know, or at least assume, that's not going to happen, of course, since it's built for baseball and integrated into The Banks. But I could see some sort of renovation demands being made at some point.

There is literally nothing wrong with GABP--any more than there is with PBS. Renovation/restoration/maintenance is necessary for any building structure outside in the midwest...weather and the elements do not discriminate. Other than that, each are perfectly fine buildings.

Besides...they can't get rid of the Holy Grail! 😄
