|BlackJesus| Posted October 11 Report Posted October 11 They are 1-4, and need to win at least 4 of their next 5 games to get to 5-5 with 7 to go. I think this is manageable. Best case scenario would be to win the next 4 in a row, so that even if they lose in Baltimore, they are .500 going into the home stretch. 2 Quote
Le Tigre Posted October 11 Report Posted October 11 I also called it 5-5. I have always been leery of getting good results in CLE…this year no different. PHL may be tougher than anticipated. Surprise me against Rats…they often play well in RatLand Should breeze with the others. 1 Quote

Nick Chubb coming back and they may bring Jameis Winston off the bench to shake things up. I don't think the dude has thrown a TD pass since 2019 but he'll light it up against the Bengals, being a backup and all. 1 Quote
-GoBengals- Posted October 14 Report Posted October 14 will be tough. 4-6 most likely, we may drop to the eagles, hopefully its a shootaout and we cna beat them, but they are healthy again so thats gonna be tough.. Quote
Jamie_B Posted October 14 Report Posted October 14 This week's game could look like the Giants game. Good defensive front. Horrible QB. Lets hope Chubb isnt back this week. 1 Quote

If it is not clear to you or anyone yet, there are zero gimme games in the new NFL. Too much parity, even the lowly teams can pull off upsets and then you can get a series of bad ref calls, etc. No gimmies. Gummies on the other hand, lots of gummies. 3 Quote

Nick Chubb hasn't played in a game in a long time. Dint see him busting out with their Oline in shambles. I don't see a loss here at all. Seems Vegas feels the same as we're 4.5 favorites. 1 Quote

It's just that it never seems to matter how good or how bad either team is when they play and things haven't gone well against them in the Burrow era. Maybe that corner gets turned this Sunday. 1 Quote

Bengals haven’t won in Cleveland since 2017. Browns are 6-2 against Bengals since we drafted Burrow in 2020. Quote

texbengal Posted October 14 Report Posted October 14 I’ll go with 5-5. Philly is getting their playmakers back but Hurts has been turning it over a lot. Raiders are a mess and Browns still have some difference makers on D and have given Joe and company trouble. And Chubb has shredded them as much as any runner has. But they could/should win those. None easily but I think they have enough. The toughest one will be at Baltimore, away on a Thursday night. That one looks especially difficult. 1 Quote

You had a GOOD crowd up there! I went to the original Rat Trap Stadium closing game in ‘95. Got the tickets for nothing from a client before that season started and the move announced. It was against the crap ‘95 Bengals, and the real Browns won easily. Didn’t wear any colors that day, and was plopped into the very heart of their season ticket holders (I was a guest after all). Had a friend of mine with me, and we spent the whole game toasting Art Modell. Nobody caught on, but kept getting weird looks from these obviously distraught Woofers because we were both smiling ear to ear…and toasting practically every play. A day to remember. Have some photos somewhere. Will share if I can run across them. 4 Quote

Explosives going off…fires started…seats being removed. Several well-prepared attendees actually had wrenches and bolt cutters—made removal easier. The aghast season ticket folks left before the nut cases made it to our section. Some guy pulled off a section of 4 seats and said “here you go” to us. Sure, why not? Get to the gate to leave and some rent-a-cop says “hey drop those!”. I’m pointing at another group of yahoos dragging out sections of 10…”but but but!”. Nope drop ‘em. Real cop comes by, so did as ordered. A shame—I saw a lot of concerts in that shit hole…would have liked some seats. Surreal experience. 2 Quote

I usually don’t have issues with Browns fans in Cleveland, but I’m also usually with my Browns loving husband and/or son. Even the year I went with my sister and without the protection of Browns fans, no one hassled us. But, I have seen other people hassled. 1 Quote
