Oh Energized once again.

Aren't you?

I'm not sure what you mean by this?

Same person I was yesterday with the same work and responsibilities.  If you think I'm crying in my beer or off howling at the moon or whatever you're going to be disappointed.

Maybe even consider why you take so much pleasure in the imagined suffering of others, but that's probably asking for too much.

No checks and ballences at any level

I told my husband this morning, “Congratulations. You elected a whiny, wannabe dictator who has control of the House and Senate and has been told by his Supreme Court that he can pretty much do whatever he damn well pleases and doesn’t have to worry about being re-elected. Have fun with that. When he starts trying to revoke FCC licenses for any broadcast outlet that disagrees with him, I’m going to say I told you so. When Obamacare gets revoked and a new plan that doesn’t accept pre existing conditions and makes me work for 3 more years until I can get Medicare instead of retiring early, I will say ‘I told you so.’ “

We are screwed.

How in the world did gerrymandering pass?

Misleading ballot language, written by a “bi-partisan” committee but approved by our good pal Frank LaRose. 😡

This is what I'd like to hear from a president.  Ain't going to happen.

But we might get some cryptic remarks about Hannibal Lecter, sharks, and his uncle who went to MIT, so that should be enlightening.

With such a stable genius in charge, surely we can count on peace & prosperity for all.

Im downtown at my buddies place tonight and one of the guys used to work for Congresswoman Miller Meeks. He said the people around Trump don't care mostly, he said someone lie Devoss who he disagrees with her on everything he knows she at least cares about education, but most of the people around Trump just want to enjoy liberal tears.

That's how they plan to govern. Much of what will happen will not be about if it's a good idea or good policy even if it's policy I disagree with, it will be about how do we make the liberals cry.

This makes sense as only liberals rely on things like Medicare, the FDA, the FCC, the SEC & so on.  Conservatives have their own special, private versions of all these things so they will be unaffected.  And by "conservative", I mean anyone that supports Trump.  Anyone that does not support Trump is, of course, a liberal and should probably be taken out and shot.  For freedom and America.

I know, right? One of the big reasons I haven’t retired yet is because of health insurance.

Some of the readings I have done there is a thing floating around the right-wing economicsphere about the the talk that people will work the rest of their lives without retirement.

I hope I'm wrong about him, this country can't survive Authortiatarinism

But I don't think I am.

I hope if things get bad people like you take an honest look at why and stop watching things that confirm your biases.

We'll see where we are at in a few years.

You must know Harris and her coharts were taken the country in a bad place as the last 4  years have shown.

Your opposed to conservatism but you have it for the next 4 yrs.

No admin makes all the right calls but try and open up about Trump

achieving many of his goals to keep us respected and fearful world leader.

Him achieving his goals is what I am afraid of.

The policies of Project 2025 are objectively bad and will hurt people, the thing I find depressing is that that is what Conservatives want. They want to see people hurt.

I hope you're right, I fear you are not. And I worry that if you are not and I am you and people like you will not admit that and we will continue to hurt because of your decisions

Said himself he wants the world to see Trump as "respected and fearful" (I assume he meant feared.)  This is the far right brain rot - equating being feared with being respected.

No one respects Trump on the global stage.  They might fear him, in the sense that you'd fear a toddler that picked up a loaded handgun.  That is a far cry from respect.

This desire to be feared is a sickness.

As for the Project 2025 stuff, obviously he hasn't read any of it.

Fair enough on your view.

Give President Trump the respect of proving your worried wrong .

It'll  be bitter toad for liberals if you don't...

Why would it be a bitter toad? Is there a threat that I should worry about if I disagree with him?

Sigh...

It's going to get worse Clapton, hes going to pass things that activly hurt people. That's not me with Trump Derrangment Syndrome. That's me paying attention to the things he has said and the policies the Republicans put forward.

The talk about us being feared and respected again? Based on what? None of or allies respect him they all know all you have to do is flatter him. Also were back to a guy that actively praised dictators. How is that a good thing? How does actively praising dictators make us more respected and feared?

Oh hell no. Not me. I’ve worked too damned hard to accrue enough to retire to not enjoy it.

I hear you. I hope they are wrong, I'm 16 years from retirement if they retirement age stays what it is, if they raise it, not so much.

Wasnt raising it part of the 2025 blueprint, or did I see that floated somewhere else?  It's definitely on the table.

It is 100% part of that blueprint. I wont be surprised if they privatize it too, that has been a long term goal as well.
