Agreed. I have no doubt that Joe, Ja'Marr and Trey will all be locked in. I just hope Zac doesn't coach scared. Be aggressive, but smart.

 

Gotta say, I'm not optimistic about tonight, but I'm hopeful. With Burrow, we always have a chance.

I've seen Lemur run away with these games but I've also seen him turn the ball over and lose them.  

 

Defense needs to rush and cover a whole lot better than they have so far & it's hard for me to imagine them making that big of a jump.

 

OL will also be tested a lot more than they have the last couple of weeks.  If the Ford/Volson combo on the left OL doesn't cripple the offense we may owe them both an apology.

Crazy stat:  Ravens are 23rd in points allowed overall, but 8th when at home.  Some of that is probably just scheduling but that's still a massive swing. Their defense does not travel well.  (I'm aware this is an away game for us, FWIW).

I don’t know man, Thursday night games you kind of have to throw out season averages. It’s a short week and many times it ends up being a much lower scoring game than you’d expect.

Throw out everything else for that matter.  I wish they'd throw out Thursday night games entirely to be honest.  Tend to be sloppy as hell and from what others have said, heavily favor the home team.  Pretty shitty draw for this point in a Bengals season that's already on life support.

Nah I wouldn't call it a bad bet, I'd guess those rankings are more likely to average out home/away before the end of the season.  Plus both defense are on short rest, I'd say you've got a good shot.  IDK about 70+ but >51 seems entirely reasonable.

I don't understand why they just don't have the Thursday night games be between teams that just had a bye week.  They do the opposite instead.

For sure. Tough draw for a desperate team needing a win. Maybe the refs will think burrow is Mahomes and give him preferential treatment

Agree and they are also more likely to get injuries. 2 games in 4 days - one of which is an away game - that's a lot of wear and tear.
