A must win

Without having seen this, I was just thinking that my confidence level in the season is at about 40% right now. With a win, I'd be at about 60% and with a loss, at about 20%. Unless they completely fall apart, I don't plan to give up until loss #9 or mathematical elimination, whichever comes first.

Hastily made Baltimore tourism video:

For the record, I was stationed in Southern Maryland for the Navy 20 or so years ago and attended Johns Hopkins to get my Masters. Loved rooting for the Blue Jay's lacrosse team, but even in 2000 driving to Homewood Campus thru Baltimore proper was fought with peril. Visiting a decade later to see a Little Feat concert at a club near the Inner Harbor - hoo boy, it had gotten even worse than DC and PG County. Reports from friends in the area confirm that the decline has continued to accelerated, and that even the Inner Harbor (which was a hugely gentrified safe tourist destination) has begun to fail.

Hopefully the young man has extracted his head from his butt and has worked to earn the guarded trust of the coaching staff and the franchise QB this week.  That he's not a healthy scratch is indicative that maybe... maybe... he learned his lesson.  I think ZT let him play 2 weeks ago to give him a taste of what he was missing, and relegated him to the penalty box last week to encourage him to grow the eff up and be a professional football player.

He's got skill and might very well be one in a million, but on the field he has to be one of eleven.  Let's hope he understands that a little and focuses on two things tonight: ONE: Being a team player... when we give you the ball, do your job, and when we don't, do your job again.  TWO: Play up to that high ceiling of potential that he has shown flashes of, even if it's only to selfishly show-up the coach by demonstrating what Zac's missing by keeping him out of the game.

Do these things, and I'll be happy.
