I don't want to steal any of Homer's comments (if he makes a post election post).  That said - there is one thing he said to me that sticks out in a very tangential way. "the common people have lost and the oligarchs have won. What else is new?"

 

In my neck of the woods housing/homelessness/etc. was a hot topic during the senate race.  Unfortunately Montana voted at Senator that very much wants to privatize private lands. 

 

 

Mass deportation is only going to exacerbate the issue here.

I would imagine that if this is going to occur, they’ll go after illegal aliens first, then go after those who are here with temporary visas and/or temporary protected status or student visas. If they start going after green card holders and/or naturalized citizens, that may wipe out a lot of the medical field and high tech workforce. Also, is Trump going to include his wife and her family in this sweep? 🤔
