barely arguable point but i think murphy and hubbards roles vary a bit, even thought he same posiiton he is more of a LB/DE, and Murphy is a pass rush only DE. Hubbard has been used as a spy on Mahoems and lamar, always there to control the edge in the run game, etc. Murphy is supposed to be a skill go get the QB edge rusher, and Hubbard is a use smarts and tchnique and be reliable DE. 

 

i agree with everything stated here though, dont mind him calling it a season get the rest hopefully restructure his deal and come back for one or two last runs, hopefully with less snaps. 

 

many young players even joe has stated how important hubbard is to the team, educating young guys, teaching them the off the field "be a pro" parts of the industry.. etc..  would hate for it to end on a bad note.

Spot on about Hubbs and Murphys roles.

They need both to perform at a high level next year.

Well see what Murphy brings to the table from here on.

None, it's Karras and the LT du jour who play next to Volson. Cappa was getting repeatedly beaten by Jeff Simmons. 

And Pratt's level of effort in the 4th quarter was bad. I was embarrassed for him.
