i have only watched a small amount of broncos games. Bo Nix isnt very good, pretty sure everyone here thinks he is the next elway.. he is a fiesty andy dalton, he isn being asked to do nothing. short out routes and screens to lul you to sleep and take an occasional shot. really good Oline, WR's are shit, but bo gets time and they keep it super simple. Nix tied for rushing TD lead with 4, Williams is an average back at best. 3.6 ypc on 9 carries per game average. Nix is quick, but makes mistakes passing 22:11 td:int ratio. 

 

more prone to run trick plays than most teams, WR's and other playes have thrown 3 passes so far and had a few of those blown up too. Powers, the LG is a terrible pass blocker, not sure if we can bring a corner blitz or lb on outside or soemthing outside of trey to get him vs the LG. but he would eat in those sitautions. 

 

these guys suck but they play hard and disciplined, DB's are very very very talented, i think the tallent i the secondary makes the DL look better than it is, but we are short on OL who dont suck so it may not matter.

 

could be a huge game for Brown, get him in some space inside the DB's coverage and behind the DL/LB and let him work.

 

I think we would have better success making a comeback than we would holding a small lead. they are built well to make thing tough consistnetnly than making the homerun play. even though the DB's ahve scored a few times for them this year.

 

Turnover battle wins this game. neither team is all around more talented to overcome mistakes. 

 

also their new jerseys are a little soft.

Nice breakdown. Could not agree more on the Jersey's btw. As one of the forum's biggest uniform fanatics (alongside BJ), how on earth can they not just reinstitute these and the away versions full time. Travesty

The only game I watched was their game against the Chargers, that Oline gives him a lot of time to find guys, our Dline other than Trey has problems getting to the passer. That could be the difference imo

Those sneezing Donkey helmets/unis are their best, IMO. (I was more of a helmet freak than a uni one)

 

When I first got the gumball helmets as a kid, I didn't know all of the teams, so I called Denver the Dusters cuz it looked like the horse was sneezing to me. And with a big "D" on the helmet.. I mean, what else could it possibly be?

Here in metro Louisville area we get those penn station deals for Bengals games. 

 

I use that upside app on my phone and it gives me 19% cash back also. 

 

Penn station got the best Philly subs imo. I know they ain't real Philly sub but they way better than a real Philly.  Too much cheese on them real Philly.

A knock on the Bengals has been the quality of the teams they've beaten, but the Broncos have wins over only four AFC teams: Raiders, Jets, Colts, and Browns! They've beaten TB, NYJ, LV (twice), NO, CAR, ATL, CLE, and IND.

I'm another one. I posted on Chris Creamer's board for years until they switched hosts or something and required account renewals or something like that. I couldn't get into the ancient old email I had used to create the account and reached out for an alternate way to regain access to my account, but didn't hear back from them. Anyway...

It's not like we've had any trouble this year against shitty QB's who throw short passes to the outlet guys all day long. Or that Lou has overplayed running QB's.

If history is anything to go by, Nix will throw for 500+. Cleveland was two bad plays from 21 points last week with an offense they picked up at the Salvation Army.

But if we can't win this game, it doesn't matter if we win this game. No point in making the playoffs if you can't hang with playoff teams. Let's see if the Bengals defense finds their collective testicles.

A downgrade for Bengals DT Sheldon Rankins. After potentially being back in the mix, Zac Taylor does not anticipate Rankins playing this week. Unclear if he’ll be back for the Week 18 against the Stealers.
