Keeping Our Enemies Close: 2025

This is the right move:

"It’s been reported that the new look will become part of a full redesign in 2026, similar to how the New York Jets wore their “New York Sack Exchange” throwback uniforms in 2023 and then promoted them to full-time road status in 2024.

The Jets also revealed matching green home and black alternate uniforms inspired by their 1978-89 design in that rollout, which means we should expect the Commanders do reveal a burgundy jersey, gold pants and (perhaps) a new black alternate design next summer."

How many teams are going to be interested in Volson when he's 30? Lucas Patrick?

Seems to me with $30+M in cap space and a lot of questions at both Guard positions... Might be worth getting one of these guys as insurance. But who am I to question the winning ways of The Family?

That made no sense. Just more eeyoring.

I can see the Browns picking up Justin Tucker on the 11th week of the season when his suspension is up.

It’s a beautiful helmet, but when your starting QB is Spencer Rattler it’s like putting lipstick on a pig, and that’s being disrespectful to pigs.

Lol, maybe so but man is it much better than that black alternate they were rolling out the last couple years.

The Saints have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL black shell option just there for the taking though...

Starting to wonder what a contract is even for at this point

Looks like they are trying to clean up their cap situation. They'd certainly tank for Arch if he was in next year's draft but he's more likely to come out in 27.

Wow.. Imagine if there were a team with $30M in cap space and a suspect interior OL. Wouldn't that be a good match! Oh well, can't just go down to Walmart.

But so short—and I mean SHORT—lived. Preseason 1969.

“John Mecom, in 1969, did not realize that he had to register the uniform change with the NFL and did not do so. Needless to say, the league refused to register the helmet. The team wore the helmet once and that was it.”

Bengals play @ Minnesota in Week 3...
