So what you’re saying is that it’s been 43 years since I celebrated that win by drinking a cheap bottle of wine with a friend while sitting in the top stairwell of my dorm? (Note: Said friend didn’t follow football at all but didn’t want me drinking alone. Now that’s a friend!) 4 Quote

My guess is Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill or that grape stuff ??? that was so popular back in those days. Fun Fact: a bottle of strawberry hill fit perfectly in the center console of my '66 Chevelle. 2 Quote

AmishBengalFan Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 With the Evil Empire losing yesterday, the world is once again safe from a Yinzerpocalypse so I can safely take down my Bengal Tree today. Thought I'd snap a few photos before it all gets boxed until next season. I'm posting from my phone so if these photos are YUGE I'll fix it from my laptop later today. Tree (nighttime/ daylight): . Closeup of some ornaments: After getting engaged in '04, my future ex wife signed me up to get the annual Danbury Mint Bengals ornaments. 2004 was the first and I currently have all 21 in the series. Here they are arranged chronologically, oldest in the upper left, newest in the lower right: Zooming in, in case anyone else is a collector and want to see the one or two they may not have: Gonna stop adding photos now, in case I run afoul of a MB limit..... 5 5 Quote

esjbh2 Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Wow, I'm so jealous Amish...between those ornaments and the fried chicken, you've really got it made. Quote
Shebengal Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Nice tree. As for my office tree, the majority of feedback I got was to leave it up, so it’s staying up until the Bengals lose or I retire, which ever comes first. 3 Quote
|High School Harry| Posted Tuesday at 01:13 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:13 PM Ryan Rehkow named to PFF’s 2024-25 All-Rookie Team Rookie Ryan Rehkow was stellar in his first season in Cincinnati and took care of business, flipping the field numerous times. Rehkow was even named to the PFF All-Rookie Team thanks to his overall season grade of 71.2. Rehkow finished the season with 53 punts, averaging 42.91 yards per punt, with 28 punts landing inside the 20-yard line. Rehkow even broke a Bengals record in Week 1 with an 80-yard punt against the New England Patriots. It might not be talked about enough because of the glaring issues elsewhere, but Rehkow has solidified the punter position in Cincinnati. 4 Quote
sparky151 Posted Tuesday at 06:47 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 06:47 PM Uh, I think he was honorable mention for the PFF all-rookie team, same as Mims, All, and a couple others. Quote

Clicked the link and got this PUNTER Ryan Rehkow, Cincinnati Bengals Rekhow held off Tory Taylor due to his superior punting grade. Then again, how many rookie punters were there? Like how he won the honor of best rookie punter due to his superior punting grade. Quote
