possibly, but they didnt publicly say it, they leaked it through media clowns. Wonder if they means they asked and were turned down or if they just didnt have interest.

he has already stated he has no interest in a full time nfl gig, just consult and what not for young coaches.

 

also that was 600 yaears ago, and the nfl is a completely different game.

More likely both already have either “double secret” offers or they simply are not coaching next year.
 

My guess is Saleh is getting offers for HC spots. Nobody thinks he was the problem at the Jets.

Allen may or may not be interviewed. It's possible that he burned a bridge the first go around but Rapien doesn't say that....Go to about 4:12. but he just said he's heard rumors. I've never known James Rapien to have his pulse on anything. If Dehner says it I will believe it. Rapiens top guy is a guy who makes 2M a year as a DC at Oregon. He's going to leave to go to Cincinnati for 1.4M?

The very last thing I want is to be "shocked" by the hire of someone as important as Defensive Coordinator. Assuming the rookie backup DB is correct here, then this hire was made without anything close to a comprehensive search. Anarumo was fired only 4 or 5 days ago.

DC at Oregon made more than Lou this year.

Believe it was 1.9 and Lou 1.4

So kick it up to 1.9 and he'll be out next DC.

He's a great teacher and motivater.

Players typically have a good idea, as I would imagine any guy that comes in would want to at least meat the guys he would be in charge of?
