Bengals Free Agency 2025

Featured Replies

The team has also surprised us in the past and signed someone we thought they wouldn`t be able to, in Orlando Brown. Hoping they are able to find a way to make a few more moves that surprises us. They tried last year, but Trent Brown didn`t help us.

Remaining Free Agents as of today...

CB Mike Hilton

Hilton appeared to say goodbye to the Bengals in a social media post before free agency. That makes sense as the youth movement happens in the secondary. Corner remains a spot they could take as early as Round 1. And given Hilton's lack of a market so far, he could always return over the summer. (If still around, I would bring him back if cheap)

RB Trayveon Williams

Considering how terrible the depth at running back was last year, to the point the team made a rare in-season trade, it's a little surprising Williams hasn't been brought back yet. Instead, they brought back Samaje Perine. Like Hilton, Williams could always come back over the summer. (He should consider retirement and live on the NFL pension)

The Rest

  • S Vonn Bell ... Its been fun but...:liberalmedia:
  • OT D'Ante Smith ... well... bye
  • K Cade York ... Baltimore should need a new kicker with Tucker being a rub and tugger
  • RB Chris Evans ... fell into disfavor quickly
  • LB Joe Bachie ... his race is run, maybe for special teams.

OBj wanted to come here and was willing to take the Bengals contract structure to make it happen. It's not like the team pursued him from the start and won over a neutral player from other suitors.

Meh, he's like having another coach in the room. Never a bad thing.

…did you say “coach” or “couch”?

Nothing wrong with an extra couch either.

Would really like to see Scherff or Risner...Risner I believe is on record saying he would like to sign in Cincinnati, but hasn't heard anything from them.

He had 1 sack last year and has 4 for his 8 year career.

He has experience but not much else going for him. His PFF grade is better vs the pass than the run. We do need some interior pass rush but not sure he's the answer. His sack last year is his only one in the last 3 seasons.
