The further they get beyond 30 the more likely they'll spend the season on IR instead, or just fall off.

One year deals are great but it's a band aid, I think a younger guy on a longer deal makes sense when they've been awful at drafting OL.

Of course. But from Mr Weston’s observance, the “young guy” may not have played much—so you get the annual chicken-and-egg experiences in Bengal Land. Some are OK..most are not.

To put it another way, a better FO wouldn't have let Zeitler leave in the first place.

Injuries have effected him but for a cheap platoon back it might be nice.

Wouldn't mind bringing him to TC but only on a contract that doesn't really pay out unless he makes the 53, & then only per start.

Or, hear me out, or they could sign someone without the injury history.  Enough with this Little Sisters of The Poor alms roster building stuff. If they want to provide for injured & troubled athletes I'm sure there are plenty of worthy charities they can support without making them part of their pro football team.

I'm not interested in signing a veteran RB unless they're a Henry or Barkley level player. Jovonte Williams isn't that. Every year colleges turn out plenty of players at some positions. RB is one of those positions. I'd rather use a 4th or 5th round pick on a RB and have him for 4 years than sign Williams.

Agree...

They may go with Brown Miss and a rook short yardage back.

Kiper has 35 RBs with a draftable grade in this draft. That's the position where you load up on UDFAs

This might be my favorite find. Played great last year. Probably doesn't have a starting role in LAC. Just 26

Pass rush costs..  I'm not sure how much they're willing to shell out but Murphy as the 2025 starting LDE does not inspire confidence

There are a lot of cheaper guys like Barnett that can make rotational impacts as veterans on not too many snaps. I wish we would delve into that more.

Yeah I'd imagine best we can do is a couple of those types with a rookie or two in rotation.

Or maybe Murphy suddenly plays like a first round pick, I suppose that's still a possibility..

In Dehner's piece on what the Bengals will do with Hendrickson, it says Tobin thinks Murphy is going to be a good player, noting that he's in the middle of the pass rush efficiency metrics for players drafted in the first couple of rounds of the last 2 drafts. And that his pressure totals are low due to lack of playing time.

Yeah, yeah, I know.

But if Tobin is that delusional, we have a problem.

Most GM’s are delusional about their own high draft picks. If not delusional than at least skewed.

Clearly Tobin is delusional. The guy just publicly stated that our guards aren’t bad. Like somehow worst in the league has a place you can still get worse than.

Yeah I'm so over Tobin. If the team doesn't preform this year he can go.

KC has the worst OT tandem in the league.

What they do have is possible on interior line that's ranks as one of the the best..

Cleveland gave him an absurd amount of money. If I were the Bengals.I wouldn't have given him that contract either.

KC's tackles aren't close to the worst in the league. They are looking for upgrades or hoping one of their draftees develops but teams like Seattle or Washington would trade their tackles for KC's.

You actually think KC OTs were anything but crap your wrong.

Give me 5 OT tandems hat we're worse.

They had to put Tunney at LT because they were lacking talent

Reid has built an interior line that gives Patrick a cushion to deliver.
