Living in a geriatric state as I do.. Health care workers in general hold a lot of quiet power, particularly over individuals that only care about themselves. Unfortunately, these are also people accustomed to forcing others into doing what they want. Compromise is not in their nature & the use of force carries almost no risk for them personally.

DHS in general was a mistake fueled by post-9/11 emotions enabling a police state. Now we've got the likes of Kash Patel running the FBI. Whole apparatus needs torn down and rebuilt but an unchecked police/surveillance state of this magnitude becomes self-perpetuating, to the point where even attempting to limit it or apply real oversight is to make oneself a target of the entire apparatus. This country has never truly had an equitable criminal justice system. Not to say it's always been wrong in every case, but it's never been entirely right either. What we have now is the inevitable result of our inability to reform law enforcement.

But good for their union, either way. Not the ally anyone would've expected & that's something in itself.

Can tell you they've been going harder the past couple of days, LA-Mpls-Phoenix-Tucson, probably other cities as well (but not Houston or Dallas, for example, oh no).. I'd like to think they're under pressure of some kind or maybe see support dwindling, maybe some of the ringleaders are feeling the heat.. Maybe simple as Donny Diddler's health is obviously crashing & the whole thing falls apart without the personality cult.. Or maybe it's simply reactionary but the violence and abductions are increasing, don't believe anything suggesting otherwise.

The other possibility is that they're trying harder to instigate something that will allow the next stage of escalation so can they regain control of the narrative. Maybe due to increased pressure, but that's my guess.

They want a response so he can declare the Insurrection Act and take over the cities in time for the election and delcare because its "unsafe" we cant have an election or in that doesnt work intimate voters at the polls

8-10 people were kidnapped in my community last Friday. That's right, we don't know the exact number. If there are no witnesses and no nearby friends/family to pursue it they simply disappear. A few may have someone that can hire a lawyer - there are stacks of habeus petitions pending because lawyers can't do anything until they locate the person.

The ones we know about were reportedly on their way to work that morning. Most doing the jobs that would literally kill many of us, landscaping and construction and farming in 100+ degree temps, 10+ hours a day. This was a fast, dragnet sort of operation targeting people they knew were unlikely to resist. Random, working people who were the wrong color skin and looked vulnerable.

The heavily armed masked men who took them were dressed like soldiers. They had generic "police" velcro patches and were in an unmarked windowless van. The local media has been silent. When they do report on it, they will use words like "agents" and "arrest". This is propaganda, normalizing anonymous ethnic cleansing as some routine legal action.

We don't yet know where they were taken. Some may eventually turn up in a camp, possibly far from here, flown out blindfolded and shackled on chartered 747s - America's cattle cars. Think about how many ppl a 747 can hold. Ask yourself why they are being flown across the country to be put in camps when deportation at our southern border is a few hours away by bus & routinely handles large numbers of such cases.

Others will never be heard from again. Young, pregnant women or those with small children, teenage girls, are being separated for "special treatment". I dont need to say "ask yourself why" because we all know why. Some of us will even feel good about it. Somewhere another mass grave is being dug.

This is what's happening every day, all across the country. We are, every one of us, complicit. There will come a day when we will all have to account for ourselves, what we did or didn't do to stop it. Probably sooner than we think.
