Looks like they might be touring again. They're uh.. volatile. Catch 'em while you can... Ditto for Weedeater, for the same reasons, on account of Dixie Dave. They just played Scully's in Columbus a few weeks ago. Not for everyone, but they're a good timeI haven't gotten to the sludge lists yet in my annual consumption of "best of metal" countdowns, but doom-wise people seem to be pretty loose with the definition... lots of what I'd call more goth than doom. Either way, I stepped into a big pile of the new Paradise Lost all on my own and I've been repeating it a lot for months (it's a fair mix of their various incarnations, but truly a return to their goth roots at times):The other band that really hooked me hard was this one, and this track in particular. Again a band that has had doom-y tracks in the past that I remember but this album is more goth-y IMO as well: Report
