1.) A pure weapon on defense, plus he'll get to see if he really can cover Chase on a daily basis.

2.) Longterm replacement for Cappa at RG.

3.) Big time upside in the DT rotation.  Steal at that spot.

4.) Easy way to fix the LG spot.

5.) Stand-in for All until (if ever) he returns at TE.

6.) Smart LB with the advantage of coming in knowing Al's defensive scheme.

 

Leaned more on the offense than originally planned and pass-rush would still be a big issue.
