Ok, it's that annual time where I ask who your "Puke Pick" is for the upcoming draft?

Basically who is the one player who if you hear their name called you will let out a "what the fuck!" or "Noo!" because you think they will suck, are overrated, don't trust their character concerns, or just hate their face.

Traditionally, in years past the Bengals used to gravitate towards my "Puke Picks" in round 1. Past honorees include David Pollack, Billy Price, and Chris Perry.

Thankfully since taking Burrow those upchuck demons have been mostly exorcised.

🤮 My puke pick for this year:

Mike Green, DE

I do not want a small school guy, with shorter arms, tiny hands, lighter frame, and most importantly = 2 sexual assault allegations in two different places, after the Carman and Burton fiascos.

Took the words out of my mouth!  😁✌️

My puke pick would be Tyler Booker. Right position, wrong player and way too early for Booker. He's a typical Alabama O-linemen who is maxed out. He's a big strong guy who is slooow.

Honestly, I don't know enough about the prospects to have a puke pick this season.  I don't want RB or WR in 1, and I don't want someone I know would be a reach.  Beyond that I don't really have one.

Any RB

... I think the Bengals would take Ashton Jeanty for sure if he was there at 17.

But I can't see him making it out of the top 10.

No such thing as a “puke pick”. After any Player X is taken…they will be immediately hailed as the “perfect choice”…”steal”… or whatever other superlative available.

Change my mind

Jeanty is the only RB in one I would not be mad at even if we have bigger needs. His comp is LaDanian Tomlinson.

For me its either of the two TEs.

Shemar Stewart

Depends on who else is there but this is one of mine as well. He feels like Miles Murphy 2.0

Chase Brown is more than capable of handling the 10-12 carries a game the RB sees in this offense.  Unless they plan on doubling that number what's the point?

My two would be Shemar Stewart (great athlete, not great production, doesn’t finish well) … and Nick Emanwouri, who gives me Taylor Mays vibes. Great athlete, great straight line speed but better athlete than player. As opposed to Malaki Starks, who is more the opposite IMO.

I actually think Booker will be a good G but I’d trade out of 17 and move down to take him, if he’s the pick.

I know Jeanty could be special.

I believe Treyveon Henderson will as well.

No RBs in 1st..

I wouldn't pick Mike Green or James Pierce.

Don't think either of these smallish DEs  could hold up in run game and don't want "possible one trick ponies" on passing downs

He won’t be there. Settle down.

Yeah Pierce is another that I forgot about. One trick pony indeed.

I thought he had it all.

He had nothing ..

Has anyone even watched Shamar Stewart beyond the stat line? That defense doesn’t even really unleash its pass rushers but Stewart was still a major disruptor in every aspect. Crazy to dismiss a guy like that based on stats.

He wont be there, but if he was I tend to think they would change the Offense a little.

I'd say the same about any RB in the first 4-5 rounds.  Too many holes at more important positions.

RB is a need.
