I don't remember did Mimms participate last year before he was signed? We need a fast start and Knight at least has a very good chance at being a starter (due to lack of people at the position), I'd like to at least see these guys doing walk through. No real risk of injury on those.

That's a good question, and I honestly don't recall. Hopefully someone else on the board does because I agree with you, faster starts (even in the Burrow wrist injury season) and we're in the playoffs

Just curious why we are the only team to devote 1 day (10hrs) to the rookie mini camp?

All other teams are 2-3 days of 10hr max per day. Of course the other 3 in the AFCN are 3 days.

Stewart and Knight were on the field, just not participating in the walk through. But it was only an hour and they were there watching so I doubt they missed anything.

For a team that is expecting several rookies to be starters, this seems like a missed opportunity. There's a big learning curve for NFL rookies and a couple more days of practice and walkthroughs could certainly help them. That's why the rest of the league does it. We don't want to be reading stories from training camp about rookies struggling to pick up schematic nuances. Once the vets join the rooks at minicamp, the speed goes up.

I can't see the ketchup bottle in the video?

And no reports on if they got their full daily serving of glass prior to practice.

Yeah I saw that but it doesn't really say much IMO.

I can only hope all the rookies stay the next 2 days but I assume the team has to curtail organized activities?

At any rate I still think it's a bad look for the team to be the ONLY 1 day rookie session, especially when Zac's record of first 2 games of

each season are a mind numbing 1-11. In '24 he started 0-3 and we were 1-4 2 weeks later which realistically killed our playoff chances.

We'll see how it all turns out but we have some very important positions that will undoubtedly be filled by rookies and why Zac

doesn't want to give them every chance to succeed is beyond my comprehension.

Nobody questions this stuff when they're making deep playoff runs.  Underperform & everything is under scrutiny.
