Probably will switch around some going forward, but telling that they are beginning the next stage with fairchild and Patrick as the OG starters.

Oh that's nothing compared to "Business, but damp." Focused, but moist. Truly inspired.

I hate that the Cardinals took Walter Nolen one pick ahead of the Bengals. Rare chance to get a good pass rushing interior lineman...almost.

With 2 blown out discs in my back and considering I'm about 6-9 months away from Left Hip replacement if I got 8 inches off the ground, I'd probably tear an ACL, break an ankle and have scrapes and bruises from the landing!  🫤

…but you would hold on to the ball…right?

Whatever the identity of his defense, it certainly won't be determined in May. Let's have that discussion in December.

It starts In May!! You don’t learn a whole semester of work the last week of class!!

Should it concern me that Patrick looks smaller than Scott Peters? I have this sneaking suspicion he's going to look serviceable enough playing patty-cake against our suspect/green DT's & then get tossed around like a frisbee when the real games start. $30M in cap space and a scale model of an NFL guard is the best they can do? He's listed as 6'3 & 310lbs but I'm not seeing it.

Who knows. I'd certainly hang onto it for dear life since I'd be even more f'd up than I currently am & that's pretty f'd up! 🫤

He got run over in Chicago after they made him their starting center 3 years ago. He'd been a backup in Green Bay before that. After getting cut by the Bears, he latched on with the Saints last year as a backup but played decently when pressed into service after injuries on their line. Basically, he's a competent backup player who can play center or guard. But not really a starting caliber player, at least on a good O-line.

If Patrick and Ford were the backups to Risner and Scherff, I'd feel good about the guard position on our team. If the plan is for one of them to start at RG with a rookie starting at LG, then there is less to be confident about.

Literally any NFL team could sign either one of the two you mentioned here as better options even sitting here on May 29th. Yet they are still free agents. Can we stop pretending like those two are high quality starting options as well? That's just bitching and moaning for the sake of it.
