Week 1 at Browns confirmed

4 of first 6 on the road.  Play BAL, BUF, BAL in weeks 13-15, which will be tough.  Bye week 10. 

The early lines have Bengals favored in 10 games and underdogs in 7. CBS Sportsline guy is predicting a 9-8 record for us.

The problem is that their most of the easiest non-division opponents are home games. Against a 3rd place schedule they play Jacksonville at home and Denver on the road. Would be much more favorable if it was the other way around. Then take their games against the AFC East. NYJets and NE at home, Buffalo and Miami on the road. If the goal is to win as many games as possible, you would prefer that to be reversed.

I would agree with that.  But they’re going to need a better home record to get back into the playoffs.  With 9 home games this year, they need to win at least 6-7 of them.  Given that five of those are against JAX, NYJ, NE, AZ, and CLE, that’s very doable.  

Plus the home games vs the Browns and Stealers look easy at the moment.

I saw their betting line at 10.5 wins somewhere yesterday, and that seems about right. 

Because their teams suck ass

lol, the facility i just moved out of is across the street from the broncos training facility, i have met a few folks, before this game was slated early int he season and on MNF i was confident i could score 10-15 tickets if needed, but that ship has sailed, so yall are on your own. Dinner and drinks on me though, The Brutal poodle awaits a Bengals fan invasion.

yeah the altitude is no joke, im no athlete but i need 2-3 days to acclimate when i come back here. so hopefully they come out Friday..

Why mention Sanders? No guarantee he will play this season or even make the team.

Gabriel was drafted to be a backup QB. Sanders is more likely to be the Elves starter than DG. Pickett is probably the odd man out for the roster. I'll guess we see Flacco on week 1 and Sanders at the end of the year.

Bengals were 6-3 on the road last year and they got jobbed in two of those losses @KC and @BAL.  Nearly came back and took the one @LAC as well.

Many close games come down to FG kicking. The Bengals need to be much better in that area if they hope to make the playoffs.

This Baltimore streak is ridiculous.

This is uncharacteristically optimistic of me but...

For all the schedule blah blah blah...

I do not see a team on the schedule that I do not think the Bengals can beat.

Some twice.

With a minimum of injuries and refs who call a good game.

 

Also think it is time, overdue, for the Kansas City and Baltimore bubbles to burst.

The Athletic's model has the Bengals predicted at 10.3 wins and the 6th best odds of winning the Super Bowl. They have the Ravens predicted with the best record and best SB odds.
