Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, as expected, features heavily in the first trailer for the upcoming “Quarterback” Netflix show.

In the two-plus minutes of footage, Burrow shows up multiple times in various locations, painting an intriguing teaser of the docuseries that should cover plenty of interesting moments.

Burrow headlines season two of the show alongside Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins. Some of the footage features him talking about the length of his career, which will obviously be of major note to fans.

The trailer revealed a July 8 start for the debut of the second season.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow Grades Viewers Lip-Reading Skills, Details Heated Sideline Exchange with Zac Taylor

CINCINNATI – Toward the end of last year’s Week 15 win at Tennessee, FOX cameras caught a heated exchange between Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and quarterback Joe Burrow.

Taylor didn’t provide any context to the situation in his postgame press conference, saying only, “It was just a conversation back and forth.”

And though Burrow was wearing a microphone during the game, that week’s episode of “Hard Knocks: In-Season With the AFC North” opted to air only Taylor’s comments, leaving many to test their lip-reading skills to discern what had Burrow chaffed.

In the new season of the Netflix documentary “Quarterback,” no lip reading is needed.

The exchange is featured in Episode 6, which is the same one that features Burrow going into more detail about the burglary at his home than he previously has.

The episode shows some of Burrow’s great plays, such as the touchdown to Chase Brown in which he scrambles while holding on to the ball for 9.013 seconds before throwing it, and his deep touchdown pass to Tee Higgins to set the single-season franchise record.

But it also focuses on the large number of pre-snap penalties, which is what led to the exchange between Burrow and Taylor.

After one false start, Burrow yells “What in the f—k are we doing, man?” as he walks off the field.

“Wake the f—k up,” he adds.

The show cuts to a shot of Burrow sitting on the bench in the final seconds of the game, shaking his head.

That’s when Taylor approaches.

Here’s the transcript:

Taylor: “What to finish the game. That’s a great drive finishing. I know it’s frustrating …”

Burrow: “That’s an embarrassing performance by us. F—king embarrassing.”

Taylor: “I know. We’ll address it. But at the same time, let’s enjoy some of these wins and …”

Burrow: “F—k that. F—k that. We sucked today. That was embarrassing. We jumped offsides f--king eight times.”

Taylor: “I know that. I know that.”

The show cuts to a sit-down interview with Taylor in a Bengals meeting room.

“Sometimes I walk into an emotional moment, and I know I’m walking into an emotional moment, and it becomes a really emotional moment,” he says with a laugh. “And they may be viewed as conflict. It’s really just passion for the game.”

That's followed by a montage of shots of Burrow stewing on the bench as a quote from him as played as a voiceover.

“I understand that we won the game, and we want to be happy that we won the game, but at the same time, when things aren’t good enough, I’m not gonna act like they were.”

Well, looks like I'm gonna turn gay again....

... Too late for that.

I've just accepted the fact that Joe is every straight guys 'Mulligan' 😶

I just watched the first two episodes. Overall, I enjoy the insider peeks; I liked the Goff parts but not so much the Cousins parts. Plenty of coverage of Joe and while I really liked what I've seen this far, it's a little bittersweet to be reminded of all the shortfalls last season had. Thankfully, not much mention of the anemic defense, but still, it's a reminder.

Looking forward to seeing some more. Interested in what other people think.

I liked seeing the stuff wtih Cousins where he was admitting he wasn't playing well, seeing guys struggle makes them human.

I like seeing Millionaires going to Great Clips. :)

Interesting when Mahomes needed a 5th down do-over from Urkel to beat him in the playoffs and Burrow is still up 3-2 overall.

Finally watched the entire thing.

I've always kinda liked Jared Goff, and his story was amazing. Really impressed by the Lion's coaching staff and how they welcomed him into the fold. And I could have gone for at least 10 more minutes of his wife in a Bikini. Damn girl! If those puppies are for sale, I'll take the one with the lil' pink nose.

Kirk Cousins seems like a really nice guy, but goddamn is he BORING. Total "Basic Bitch" energy. Kinda a-hole who likes Celine Dion and Coldplay.

Joe Burrow might be going through a real life "Big". When they talk to him, it was like a 12 year old made a wish with a Genie to be the best QB in the league.

As far as the rest... I felt like there was a lot of context missing about what was going on around them. Like we were looking at QB performance in a bubble. They only briefly mention the Lions missing their entire front 7 on defense.

I liked Cousins' communication with his coaches. Hated Joe's. Goff was in the middle. Didn't really feel that same two way lane of conversation with Joe and his coaches. Maybe it just wasn't shown. In a broader sense... I wanted Joe to be a lot more vocal. Long before Episode 6.

Joe's Mom was Terri Garr. Jamarr Chase looks exactly like his Dad.

I don't think you can understate just how good Jamarr is, and how much those two guys being able to bring their existing chemistry to the league has helped them both achieve great things. I loved the "I didn't do shit" exchange.

I also really enjoyed them showing Cousins struggling with a new playbook. Goes to show that even 13 year vets can struggle picking that stuff up and just how slim the margins are.

I finished watching, too. Overall, I liked it better than I thought I would--even the Cousins stuff. And I agree with you, Lost, he's kind of vanilla and boring. But I think that one characteristic of all these guys is that to achieve the levels they have, they need to be laser-focused on their craft. My biggest takeaway from this show was this dichotomy: They have to be mature and careful because of their high profiles. But, after all, they are mostly just kids and regular young adults looking to find their way like the rest of us have had to do.

good series enjoyed it...

we all gonna pretend everyone wasnt saying he was cussing out taylor saying he sucks?

just gonna gloss over all that?

wheres that thread?

Everyone thought the bit about the 8 false starts was him talking about the W-L record. I don't remember anyone saying he told Taylor he sucks. I remember it as "we suck" which was close, missing the "today" qualifier. It's been awhile though, dig up the receipts if I'm wrong.

Not that it really matters now anyway. Last year did suck. Taylor is the head coach. QED. At any time he could've said "get Hubbard out of there" or made whatever corrections we're blaming on Anarumo. I guess that would've distracted him from calling 3rd down draw plays behind the worst guard in football while Dan Pitcher tries to look busy?
