July 24, 2025Jul 24 comment_1799281 I saw a poll on X, what is the most iconic TD in your team's history. I suggested Stanford Jennings kick return in XXIII.Hubbard yard dash is another good option. What gets your vote? Report
July 24, 2025Jul 24 comment_1799283 man this is tough.. and in history is tough.. i certainly dont recall Jennings TD i was like 7.Hubbards was a good mention.. too many meaningless game winners like beating baltimore or whoever for the bills to get in.. or game winners against pitt, SHoebel from Kitna, Caldwell from Palmer.. etcso many.. not one stands out.. jamar vs KC long run... July 24, 2025Jul 24 comment_1799315 Pat McInally....50 yd TD from Throwin Samoan in final game of 1980 against Cleveland. Earlier in that game Thom Darden cheap shotted McInally and knocked him out for a few minutes. No concussion protocols back then. Returned to score the tying TD late in game. In my mind it set the stage for the 1981 Super Bowl season....but that's just me. Report

July 24, 2025Jul 24 comment_1799332 Peter Warrick coming back too early from an injury so he could help this team make the playoffs will always stand out in my mind as an absolute legend. He risked his entire career because he wanted that that badly. But for me it's the Hubbard Fumble in the Jungle.Playoff implications, puts the game away, and its from "The Cincinnati Kid"You can't write that. Report
July 24, 2025Jul 24 comment_1799345 Has to be Hubbard for me, and it's not even close. The emotional swing couldn't have been greater. It seemed an absolute certainty that I was about to get my heart ripped out, only to have it filled with pure joy a moment later. That, to me, is essentially the greatest payoff of being a sports fan. Report

In that case, it would be hard to top Hubbard's then. Pretty much saved that playoff game, and in as dramatic a fashion as you could come up with. Report
