3 more wins than last year, lose both to the Rats, but sweep the division otherwise. Sadly, I think the Rats become the first AFC North team to get 3 Division championships in a row. But we are the 5 seed imo.

That's a very streaky prediction.

If we have decent injury luck, 12 or more wins looks doable. If we don't have good luck there, especially if Burrow misses time, look out below.

I don't like how the toughest non-division games seem to be on the road. I wish the Jacksonville game was on the road and the Denver game was at home. I wish we were playing Chicago on the road and either Green Bay or Minnesota at home. Glad that Detroit is a home game though. Wish the NYJets game was on the road and that Buffalo was a home game.

Hard to find much to disagree with here. I do think they'll split with the Ravens and Stealers, putting them at that same 12-5. Also, why is Stealers spelled as "Stealers". I thought the board had a filter? 😃

Im now on the fence about GB with them adding Parsons

yeah just look how many games parsons won for the cowboys..

Look how many games Burrow won last year for the Bengals. A tick above dead average, can't believe they're paying him that much money

🤦‍♂️

well joe put up top offense numbers for the colelctive offense... Hendrickson and Parsons putting up MVP level sacks didnt stop their defenses from giving up a fuckton of points.

my point makes perfect sense. and is applicable to bot the top and how the sports goes..

your point is just nonsensical bitching.. per usual.

you could have used Chase Brown or something.. but you picked a guy who played a huge role in producing enough points to be probably winners week after week, and compared them to guys whose individual acheivements didnt move th needle very far on theri defenses stopping the opposing team from scoring a ton.

not all positions are created equal in helping the team win. everyone knows and sees why QBs are paid top money... im not sure the top paid DE's are making their teams SB contenders.

but go off i guess.

Implying Parsons is IDK what because of the Cowboys record strikes me as the definition of nonsense. Assume I did say Chase Brown or whoever if that better illustrates that you were talking out of your ass 😆 I think you know Parsons is a monster that can take over games & we both know Pitcher or Zac or whoever is going to adjust their gameplan around him.

I'm only worried about the Lions and Ravens because of their ability to score coupled with our defense. I also think that Baltimore is one of the only teams that has a secondary to counter the Bengals WR group. While most teams don't.

Final Record = 14-3

16-1, we drop one to Balt. Go to SB and win it all. Not a homer take, super accurate.

I like to break the season down into 3 segments:

  • Browns

  • Jags

  • Vikings

  • Broncos

  • Lions

  • Packers

I think the NFC North might be the toughest division in the NFL. It's unquestionably the toughest in the NFC. Because of the difficulty of the last 4 games, 3 of them on the road, I would take a 4-2 start right now. But of course that record would have to include winning the 2 easiest games...the first two.

  • Stealers

  • Jets

  • Bears

  • Stealers

  • Patriots

The middle segment of 5 games, 4 of them at home, should be the easiest of the 3. I figure we split against Pittsburgh, but win the 3 other games since they are at home. That would be a 4-1 stretch.

  • Ravens

  • Bills

  • Ravens

  • Dolphins

  • Cardinals

  • Browns

The last segment opens with the roughest 3 game stretch of the schedule, possibly the toughest 3 game stretch in the entire league this year. I will be bitterly disappointed if we don't manage a split with Baltimore this year. The road game at Buffalo looks pretty brutal too, but I feel like the Bengals can win down in Miami. If they win the last 2 reg season games against Arizona and Cleveland, both at home, that would give them a 4-2 record in the final segment.

  • 4-2

  • 4-1

  • 4-2

My prediction: 12-5

Oh I’m just repeating a poster’s annual prediction on the old Enquirer board. Except then, it was 6-10.

Dude was hysterical. Numbers can testify

I think they might win 10 games. I don't think they're winning 14.

10 to 11 sounds right to me

14 seems like a pipe dream, but 10 wins seems a little low if they fare better in close games than last season. They missed makeable field goals in 4 single score losses. If things had broken just right in a few close games, they could have won more than 10 games last season.

I do think the road schedule looks much tougher this season than last though.

It does, and I don't expect the defense to click right away. Avoid digging too much of a hole in the process & they should be fine, though.

12 wins is possible if that happens quicker than I expect, but I still don't know that wins the division when so few teams seem to have an answer for Lemar's bullshit. Hoping we might have found one in this fellow:
