Jake Browning is not the solution. This team might not win another game unless they call the Giants and trade for Jameis Winston.

He can still sling it and is loved in every locker room he enters. He's also never had weapons like the Bengals at WR, so it would be interesting to see what he can do.

I can't watch another week of 3 points and 12 punts. For fucks sake just do it! The Giants will likely give him up for a 5th Rd pick.

Put Famous Jameis in shotgun (we have no running game anyway) and do 4th quarter hurry-up offense full time with 5 WR and no punting.

... How about just making it watchable?

Monday night's team wouldn't beat Alabama.

Why the heck would I trade something of value for the chance to maybe earn a one & done wildcard exit?

That's a big "maybe", too - what have you seen of this team that makes you think Winston gets them to the postseason? Is he expected to buy everyone tickets to a game or.... ??

Seriously. I'd rather have the draft pick, even more so considering we're drifting towards the early round. We're giving that up for the chance at a few meaningless wins?

However, no one believes this organization would use the draft pick well anyway, so it is

💰 Winston would only cost $1.51 million, plus he has an incentive package where he gets $176,000 for each win where takes over 50 % of the snaps.

Very affordable, but then again the golf cart and lumina might need a gas fill up. 🤨 So maybe going 3-14 is the plan instead.

Winston also played in the AFC North last season with Cleveland and beat the Squeelers and Ravens. And we play both of them twice coming up. 🤔

+ He threw for over 5,100 yards in 2019 with Tampa, so he knows how to let it fly in this league. 🏈 You can't seriously think he would be worse than what Browning has been.

The earlier the pick the less opportunity to fuck it up, but sure, they could still draft another John Ross.

Yeah, the Bengals should have traded down with the Titans in the first round in 2023 and with the Texans in the first round in 2025. But what would they have done with the extra picks? Probably just used them to overdraft guys who bust.

I voted no because I saw a lot of his play last year in Cleveland. High risk, high reward. Let’s keep in mind he got benched for Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is horrible.

TBF...Stefanski was desperately rotating QB's in a blur. A down week for Brian Sipe in that nut house would meet the same "reward".

That’s fair.

I like it. We should do it. We got more equity then we can handle so trading is no big deal. They're going to want Burton though. IDK why the kid isn't playing but if that's how they're going to do things then might as well just trade him for Winston. The main thing I can see Winston doing that Browning has struggled with is tucking the ball and sliding for those short little gains. Browning had a few chances to just tuck, slide and live for the next play. That's not what he did though. I see Winston being a instant improvement in those situations. So let's do it. Send me the number to the Giants. I'll call um after super.

Apparently, Burton was late for a practice last week so that’s why he was inactive on Monday. If they want Burton, they can have him, but he can’t seem to avoid distractions in Cincinnati. How much worse would it be for him in New York?

The thing about is that it's pro football and they do not care. As long as he can fly down the field, run a route, catch a ball. They'll turn a blind eye to his shenanigans if he's preforming. They need a receiver badly. Won't be any moral expectations.

I don't think they care if he's a degenerate gambler or whatever-the-hell he has going on.. I do think they care if they can trust him to follow a gameplan and run the right routes. He'd be playing here already if that were the case.
