Trade Deadline 4pm Tuesday

If we keep Henderson it would be foolish. The last salary negotiation was a train wreck. No way he re-signs or even tries to re-sign with this team with its current mid level Big 12 quality defense.

At this juncture, it should be a salary-dump for anybody not named Burrow/Chase/Higgins. They are stuck with the 1-year deals, but everyone else is on the table. Unlike MLB trade deadlines--buyers in the NFL aren't trading real talent (picks) for anything of diminished value. Trey--especially--would be a half-season rental (and banged up at that). Anything this team has to offer, would be met with--at best--lower value picks and/or players.

Pathetic thing is, say they trade him.... for pick(s). So what? Tobin and Potts are still making the picks.

That gives you confidence, especially where they haven't shown (with a few exceptions... like 2/10 day 1-2 picks who look like they can play) they know talent? Insanity, truly.

The only reason you don’t trade him now is you intend to tag and sign (would he?) or tag and trade (more likely) when there are more teams available to bid.

I mean you have to try. FAs are going to be expensive and it's still Tobin signing those guys. At least the draft guys are cheaper.

That would be a bad morale move. Just set him free already, get some picks. Plural.

Honest with themselves and a clear plan? This guy is hilarious!

Yeah...as mentioned earlier, no guarantee extra picks even amount to anything...a vicious cycle indeed.

Possible traded bros....I agree it's unlikely please relax Go and others

Wilson-2 years left on deal after this one. Contract is probably too high in comparison to play

Jackson-2 years left on his deal, can't see the field

Burton-2 years left on his deal, can't see the field

Murphy-1 year left and I doubt they pick up his option, somsone might want a flyer

Battle-Can't tackle but cheap

Taylor-Britt-Free Agent after this year, won't be back

Hendrickson-Free Agent after this year, most likely to be traded

Stone-Free Agent after this year, won't be back

Wouldn’t trade a bucket of warm spit for most of those guys. Seriously, other than Tre?

Maybe you get a late-round pick swap for one or two of them. Just sad that several starters have next to zero value around the league. Speaks to the talent level in this team.

But hey, Zac says they have the players and coaches to turn it around and be a good defense (I know, I get it… what else is he gonna say?).

Zac Taylor for this:

Serious inquiries only.

I'd rather keep the cheese sandwich, personally

Jerrah is definitely the sort to give up way too much in a trade

They are 3-4-1 and getting shut out by AZ tonight.

And he’s a buyer?

he doesn't have much time left, there is no rebuild, they have to win now. also has to double down on his ego trade of Parsons

No way Dallas is a buyer after getting beat by Cards. We are going to be stuck with Mr 30 Million Dollar Injury Man. I tried to tell everyone on here he was not worth it and should've traded him in the off season due to his age but was lambasted stating that and now look what the team is trying to do.

Dallas is considered a SB contender right up until they are mathematically eliminated, every year.

rightly lambasted, that's an idiotic take. Trey is a legend, injuries happen. he wasn't even under contract, how could they trade him
