John Harbaugh says Kyle Hamilton avoided a serious ankle injury

Published November 23, 2025 04:52

Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton headed to the locker room before the final seconds came off the clock in Sunday’s 23-10 win over the Jets, but it doesn’t look like the team will have to be concerned about his availability for Thursday’s game against the Bengals.

Hamilton injured his ankle, but head coach John Harbaugh said in his postgame press conference that it is not a serious injury. The short week will likely limit how much Hamilton participates in what will surely already be limited practices for the Ravens, but having him on Thanksgiving will be the most important thing for the Ravens.

Hamilton had 10 tackles in Sunday’s win.

Ravens defensive lineman Taven Bryan also picked up an injury in the game and Harbaugh said he expects more information on his status on Monday.

Joe starts. Jamar is back.

If the D can play like they did today and if Joe can hit the ground running with no rust, we have a chance.

Any word on Tee Higgins?

I'm sure no Tee this week but that's OK. Let's get J'Marr back and let Tinsley play Tee's role. Get Joe back and not throwing pick 6s and we'll be fine.

I expect to see a motivated and fired up Bengals team on Thanksgiving given the situation. They'll give the Ravens all they can handle. From there on, I don't expect much

Nothing official but I’d be surprised if he played the following Sunday, never mind Thursday.

No, have to think isnt playing on Thursday imo. It looked like a concussion, and a bad one.

You really can't judge a concussion for a couple days. Some look bad and they recover. Some look minor and it lingers. Still, four days is a big no go.

Thats exactly it, if this was a Sunday game I'd say maybe he starts. I'm not doing the Tua on Tee, not worth it.

Tee and Trey ruled out

We'll see what Gesicki and Tinsley contribute.

Tee out, does Burton finally make an appearance as the deep ball guy?

If not, then he is absolutely in the dog house, and we should just cut our losses with him.

So do they cut Browning to make roster room for Joe B?

If he's not playing now I'm not sure why he's on the roster. They're not getting the draft pick back. They're not getting back whatever little guarantees they gave him as a 3rd round pick.

All he seems to be doing is reminding everyone they can be complete fuck-ups and stay on the roster. No mystery why so many of these dudes underperform.

I think Burton is supposed to be Tee's backup and Tinsley is Chase's. I'd be surprised if he isn't active on Thursday - they were down to just Tinsley, a busted Yoshi and Jones at the end of the Pats game.
