Cincinnati Bengals Road Betting Underdogs Against Buffalo Bills

Cincinnati is looking for continued success against Josh Allen and the Bills.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are in the road underdog role again this coming Sunday as six-point underdogs in Buffalo, with a point total set at 51.5 points.

Cincinnati enters this game 4-8 overall and 5-7 against the spread, while the Bills are 8-4 straight up and 6-6 against the spread.

The Bengals have had plenty of success in Buffalo and need to win to keep their only path to the playoffs alive: An AFC North title. The Bills just helped them get a little closer to that goal by beating the Stealers yesterday and leaving the Bengals two games behind the Ravens and Pittsburgh. Cincinnati cannot drop another game in the AFC and likely has to finish 9-8 to get the division crown.

Joe Burrow and his team are taking it day by day as they focus on the AFC contenders this week.

"I certainly had those moments after the game. Certainly, hasn't been easy on me through six years from a lot of different angles," Burrow said about his injury recoveries over the years after beating Baltimore on Thursday. "So, I worked really hard to put myself in a position to be back out there, and a lot of people around me have done the same. Through a lot of discussion, time in the training room, just a lot that's gone into this, and I'm proud to be back."

Cincinnati takes on the Bills Sunday at 1 p.m. ET with Burrow ready to add another upset win to his strong result ledger.

Key to this game is get ahead by more than one score. And spy the hell out of Josh Allen. LBs and Safties are going to need to play better this week. Would be really nice to get Trey back, but thats a tough ask with a hip injury.

It wasn't Cossell, but I heard the same about the Bills O. Seems to be some agreement in that area.

That said Josh Allen is still Josh Allen and their running game was enough to put up the most yards in this Steelers stadium.

I'm not sure what to make of us at this point. The O struggles when there isnt a 3rd option because Jamar and Tee have been bracketed, but then Brown has done well over the past few weeks.

The D is obviously the big question mark. Can they keep playing like a middle of the pack D that at the start of the season we all hoped for? Remains to be seen.

I'm on the fence here, I'd like to get in the playoffs and give the young guys a chance to see the difference between normal game speed and playoff game speed, so they have some experience for next year, as I don't think we get past maybe the first round. However, I also really like the idea of adding a Caleb Downs from OSU to the backfield, which you likely need to be drafting top 15 to get.

Bills WR group is lousy. Dalton Kincaid it out at TE too. Bills have been running the ball pretty well this season, not just Cook. In their last game, vs the Stealers, their starting tackles were out and they ran for well over 200 yards. So our defense should get ready to see a lot of runs at us.

I hope the FO sees this as "we should've worked this out 2 years ago" or "we need to draft & develop better to avoid these situations" rather than "we shouldn't have extended him". Trey missing half the season does not negate the fact they had no other proven pass rushers on defense. The very questionable DL depth they saw fit to carry into the season is a completely separate issue from the risk that comes with a 30 year old vet lineman. The lesson here is to stop throwing valuable draft picks at "projects" and rehab hopefuls, not another excuse to avoid financial risk.

Jenkins & McKinnley Jackson being MIA, letting Murphy coast along until his job is in jeopardy, or drafting Stewart 17th overall are where the mistakes were made. Trey is one player and they've invested a lot of draft stock into the DL with very little to show for it.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills

This game has massive implications for both teams, and it’s going to be a lot more interesting with Joe Burrow back in the lineup for the Cincinnati Bengals. He made his return to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, leading them to a win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving.

The Bengals, with the win, improve to 4-8 on the season, and their only shot at the NFL playoffs this year is likely the AFC North title. The Wild Card race in the AFC is likely going to feature double-digit win teams, so the Bengals are already out of that since they can only win out for nine wins.

Luckily, the AFC North has been a disaster of a division this year, so there is a slim chance. On the other side, the Buffalo Bills are coming off a win over the Pittsburgh Stealers and have to simply hope that the New England Patriots stumble, as they are behind in the AFC East and may have to settle for a Wild Card berth.

I do believe that one more Bills’ loss could take them out of the picture for the division. One more Cincy loss also likely takes them out of the AFC Playoff Picture. Both teams are going to be playing some desperate football, and while Cincy is flawed, they are a great team when Burrow is healthy.

Buffalo’s defense has been a sore spot this year, and Burrow is one of the best in the NFL, so the Bengals could move the ball with ease. The Bengals get the upset win. Cincy would improve to 5-8 with the win, and Buffalo would fall to 8-5 with the loss. Both teams really need this win.

Prediction: Bengals win 27-24

honestly, the ENTIRE week is film of the team your playing, gameplan, walk throughs, the scout teaming running their offense and defense to practice against... an abolute impossability to do so..

just media nd fan speak...

you could half ass prep and not be locked in.. but you would have a hard time knowing who was on the schedule aside from the upcoming game while in the building..
