Burton Waived!

Do you watch games or just read scouting reports. Heyward is solid against preseason competition just slow. His tacking is very good. Yet, slow guys get eaten for lunch in the NFL. College awards mean Jack squat.

Because I watch games I can tell you that Jacob Rodriguez is a much better football player than Shaka Heyward.

But Heyward was honorable mention all ACC. That's as good a being 5th in the Heisman voting as a linebacker, right?

Are you predicting Rodriguez goes undrafted, like Heyward? I'll take the other side of that bet.

In a Althletic article the other day, Brugler noted Rodriquez has gone from an UNFA prospect last season to a mid round prospect this season. One of his “rising” guys.

That doesn't mean he'll be any better as a NFL player. You guys are the ones saying he is slow. If he's too slow, he's too slow. My point is the Bengals already have a guy like that. And, again, who cares about college awards. Means nothing.

Agreed. Dan played for 10 years, and had a very good NFL career. He was never a sack master at THE...and I will never understand why people were shocked when he wasn't in the pros.

He was however, a great run defender...as well as a "disruptor" along the line. Stewart could take lessons from him in this regard.

Big Daddy played for 13 seasons in the NFL and started 182 games. That puts him in the top 3% of all players. He was very reliable and rarely missed a start. He had a very successful NFL career just didn’t live up to the hype being the #1 pick brings.

How bizarre...fake news lives !

According to Wiki, he’s alive and well and living in Florida.

If he had died, I’m sure the Columbus news would have been all over it. If not that, then my friend who coached at Westerville North when Ki-Jana was there would have mentioned it.

Thank you for not shooting the messenger.

I was looking for his stats and that popped up.

Paul is dead. Just listen to the White Album!

It was Abby Road. He is literally floating above the road like an angel with a bad haircut.

White Album's supposed to be full of secret messages confirming it. "Glass Onion", "Revolution 9"... They were leaning into the conspiracy theory at that point & taking the piss. Some poor fools thought it was sincere, meant only for the very specialist fans. Crazy, right?

Goo goo gajoo.

The PID groupies were convinced it happened in 1965 in a car accident. The song “A Day In The Life” (from Sgt Pepper) had some backwards crap in it…to go along with “he blew his mind out in a car”. There was also supposedly hidden/garbled junk in “Strawberry Fields”, amongst other cuts here and there. If any of this existed, it only would have been in some devious Lennon motivation.

After the split up, McCartney felt the actual need to set everything straight via Life Magazine

I still have this mag somewhere in my archives

Certainly better than taking about the 0 point output today or dumping a guy with incredible talent that never grew up.

I think Lennon at one point admitted that "Well here's another clue for you all/the Walrus was Paul!" line was meant to throw gas on the whole thing.
