Bengals/Browns game will NOT be flexed to Saturday:

  • Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-announces-week-18-schedule-for-2025-season-with-ravens-Stealers-on-sunday-night-football

Crap. Was hoping for Saturday.

Edit: now that I see there are only 2 Saturday games—one at 4:30 and the other 8:30–I’m good with Sunday at 1pm.

Sounds like he needs to retire and join the coaching staff.

Just do running plays, don't let MG get the record

Does he mean the success at missing tackles?

That means Golden Boy is trying to cover his golden ass for

putting that stumble bum on the field every game.

So will we be evaluating some players to see if they will be back next year?

Esp in the second half?

ZT has not shown the slightest inclination to do any of that. Judging by his surprisingly upbeat coachspeak (which is proof positive he is coming back…with all of his coaches), he is approaching Sunday like he has every other game this season.

(And always remember that the Boss still wants to beat whatever version of the Cleveland Browns is on the other side every time)

I was surprised by how much the team seems to be puffing up Jordan Battle. The piece from Charlie Clifford was them clearly saying they want Battle as a starter next season. We all know that Stone won't be back, even if he took a paycut. But if they think they are set at the strong safety spot and only need a free safety, then Downs might be more likely in round 1 if he's available.

You have got to be kidding me! 😳🙄

I could tackle better than him!

So I assume after this week Burrow will be 6-2.. I predicted that he would be 13-4 or 12-5 this year so I pretty much hit the nail on the head. The thing I am pissed about is our defense not showing up when Browning and Flacco played. Flacco should have got us 3 wins instead of 1, and the defense ruined it. We should be 9-7 right now with a chance at winning the division. Without KC in there we would have been SB favorites. Or at least a dark horse.

If Burrow is happy and healthy next year look for the Bengals to win it all. I will guarantee this and send one dollar to everyone that does not think we will win it (if we don't end up winning it if Burrow plays all 17).

Geno Stone…the guy obviously can’t tackle for shit but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with his coach saying that he’s done a great job getting people lined up in the right spots and just being a fantastic leader overall. There are much worse things that you could say about a player.

Yeah, agree. I’m sure Geno does some things well but for me his tackling “prowess” and poor pursuit angles are enough for me to move on. Or at least, find better competition at that position.

He should have just said "He has a great personality" and left it at that.

Fairly safe to assume the Chefs will beat Las

Vegas Sunday unless they are tanking for the higher draft pick.

The Falcons pulled one out of the wazoo and won last night.

Sunday the Falcons play the Saints.

From our perspective as far as draft position,

who do we want to win?

Well, at the beginning of this year there was a general consensus here that we could be a serious contender if (a) Joe was healthy (b) the OL and the D was at least just average.

At least the OL has come around…

The Raiders are so bad…even if Andy Reid emptied his entire practice squad and filled the remainder of the roster with tryouts—they couldn’t “tank” enough to lose.

Head down to Hard Rock with that bet

If we win to get to 7-10, we'd be picking at 12 which ever team wins the Saints-Falcons game. We lose tiebreakers with other 7-10 possible teams except Tampa. So we'd want Falcons to win to get to 8. If we lose to Cleveland, we'd want Saints to win to get to 7 wins.

Glazing one of the worst players on one of the worst defenses in NFL history is one hell of a choice.

The happytalk bullshit factory is in full swing. This does not inspire confidence, nor does it spark joy.

Raiders have NO interest in winning.

Mendoza on their list now

Yeah, Dehner seems to be taking up Hobson's role as FO apologist with this piece about how great the 2023 draft was.

I dunno, it seems pretty damn good to me. AS long as Murphy keeps improving the only serious whiff was Robbins (OK, Jones may be whiff adjacent). Wish they would do that every year.
