They're letting Chenal walk because they feel good about their LB corps. What they don't have is enough pass rush. Jones is getting older and Karlaftis took a step back. They signed Kenneth Walker III today so that takes Love off the board for them. So pick 9 is likely to be a WR, OT, or pass rusher. Maybe a CB if they love one. With 3 top 40 picks, they're not going anywhere as long as Mahomes and Simmons are healthy. Report

Far more cap space than Baltimore (they have among the least), better draft capital in much earlier picks.. 2 first round picks is too much but maybe they take our early 2nd, swap another pick or who knows.. Rather they had tried & failed than not even being part of the discussion. We can revisit this when he's posterizing O'Bum Junior.I was thinking the same thing. Report
March 9Mar 9 comment_1822647 I wouldn't have given 2 firsts for Crosby. He's a good player but not as good a pass rusher as Hendrickson. Much better run defender though. If Bengals are going to make a big trade, go for Jeff Simmons. Report
March 10Mar 10 comment_1822760 Squealers getting Rico Dowdle at RB is a nice pickup. Dude can play. Also getting Pittman at WR and Jamal Dean at CB… good moves also. For a team that’s typically quiet in FA, they had a good day. That said, still ?s at QB. Report

March 13Mar 13 comment_1823255 Falcons' James Pearce Jr charged with 3 felonies after alleged incident involving WNBA's Rickea JacksonJackson filed for protective order claiming 'James will kill me' after a Feb 7 incidentAtlanta Falcons edge rusher James Pearce Jr., a 2025 first-round pick, was charged with three felonies by the Miami-Dade (Florida) State Attorney from a Feb. 7 incident involving WNBA player Rickea Jackson. Court documents revealed Pearce was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person, all of which are felonies. Pearce, a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year after a successful 2025 season with the Falcons, was arrested near Miami last month after allegedly fleeing officers and crashing his car after what police called a domestic violence incident with Jackson, a 2024 All-Rookie team honoree with the Los Angeles Sparks. Pearce is alleged to have crashed his car into another vehicle being driven by Jackson and struck a police officer while he tried to flee law enforcement, ESPN reported, citing a criminal complaint from the Miami-Dad State Attorney’s office. Jackson told police she noticed Pearce was following her in a white luxury vehicle, and when she stopped at a red light, the Falcons rookie tried to open her car. Jackson said she started to drive toward the Doral Police Department while Pearce was allegedly following her. Then, as she got closer to the police station, she alleged Pearce cut her off and collided with her head on. An officer reportedly pulled a gun on Pearce once Doral authorities responded to the incident in an attempt to force him to get on the ground. However, he allegedly got back into his car and drove away. Report

But what a dumbass team for working that cap that way.End of the day, whether you manipulate the cap or don’t you pay the same amount of monies to salaries over the long term.If we manipulated the cap and won a couple of SB’s would we give a shit if we were over the cap in 2031?Yeah, it worked out for them but just like the Rams who went all in when they got Stafford, it eventually catches up with you. Saints did the same the last few years with Brees and the team was very good but then it caught up with them. Until our defense is at least mid league in quality, I would wait before we pushed all the chips in. It can backfire as well like Green Bay with Micah Parsins and Indy with Sauce Gardner. Report
