Or maybe just take a year off to relax and not be rushed into a quick signing..

The offers will be a plenty..

Yeah, I can't see him in the broadcast booth during games. But I could potentially see him on one of those pre/halftime/post game panels though, ala Terry Bradshaw, Bill Cowher, etc.

Yeah that's dope, looks to be a few metro stops away from Navy Yard where the Nationals play.

Super not looking forward to the traffic its gonna cause while its being built. I go down to Navy Yard twice a month, and parking is close to impossible to find when the Nationals are playing, hopefully this is far enough away from where I am so I dont have to deal with trying to find parking year round.

Rumor (and there are just a few this time of year) has it that Chris Shula is a serious candidate for the Stealers gig. That's Dave's son.

I hope for their sake he's a better coach... wouldn't be difficult. But it'd be cool if that happened, and even moreso if he hired Gary Reasons as the LB coach. Just sayin'

I hope for everyone's sake he's not

Here's hoping Don is the only good coach in the family and they keep getting progressively worse and didn't just skip a generation.

Gotta admit, this looks pretty cool

Looks a bit reminiscent of the Kennedy center with the exterior columns.

The renders show the new stadium being at the site of RFK, and the balloon in your map is rather far from that. what is not matching up here?

I noticed that after I posted. I googled the address for the new Redskins stadium and thats what it gave me. It's likely wrong, it's likely at the old RFK site like you said.

Magistic in its structure..

Like to have seen the interior as well.

Question

Where does one park?

Question

Where does one park?

These buildings to the left are apparently parking garages. I would imagine that getting in and out would be absolute hell though

It's on the site of the old RFK. Most fans used the Metro to get there but it didn't have much parking. The new place will have several garages as part of the project. RFK was owned by the US department of the Interior but the site was recently sold to the DC government and the stadium is part of a larger economic redevelopment project.

"Hey can we get affordable housing or maybe some expanded public transit to deal with the notorious DC-area traffic? Fix some potholes at least?"

"Fuck you, here's a football stadium you can't afford to go to and also some prefab condos that look like a stack of beige shipping containers"
