No surprise that the Stealers get the prime time Monday slot. BUF-JAX maybe a bit undersold in the 1pm Sunday place. CAR getting a gift in the Saturday spot.

basketball season started 5 minutes after the bengals game ended in my house...

at this point in th nfl i dont care who wins, as long as everyone gets hurt.

i half want the broncos to win so they are FUCKED with bo nix for a long time, theyll dowhatever everyone does, pay a mediocre QB 50 million and lose the defense that made them win anything at all..

i also want bo nix to cost them whatever game they lose if they do... becasue he sucks and i hate him.

I have rooting interest in two games: BUF at JAX and HOU at PIT.

I get tired of hearing about Josh Allen, so send him home early. And there is no franchise in all of sports that I despise more than the Pittsburgh Stealers. Go Texans.

Does the Stealer game being on MNF work in their favor or does it matter?

I hope the squealers get crushed as for other games i could care less

Wild Card Weekend is my favorite part of the NFL Playoffs…regardless of who plays. You always get a few semi-shit teams playing…and some even get to host games. The NFL might even let one of them win…so long as it isn’t against a down the road money-maker.

Just for craps and giggles… I have selected CAR as my favorite. Yes, they are 8-9…yes, they have no business being in the playoffs—let alone hosting a game….and yes it will be a short ride. But what the heck…gonna get behind an old friend…even though he won’t see the field.

i dig the thought process here, usually i have a team im rooting for or will root for the broncos due to family ties here, but i cant get behind bo nix, he sucks, and he doesnt think or know he sucks, which is the worst kind of sucks....

My football season effectively ended last Sunday.

Screw 'em all and screw the Stealers twice. Or more.

Watching some of the other high stakes games last week was fun & I plan on catching most of the WC games, too. Good, fundamentally sound football teams are fun to watch. Can't help but notice a lot of them don't have flashy, big-play offenses. They're capable, most of them, but it's not their focus. Their focus is winning games. It's refreshing. Carolina sucks and Pittsburgh just get by on being dirty but the rest are pretty solid. I guess after 17 weeks watching one of the worst defenses in NFL history I enjoy seeing teams that aren't total ass on one side of the ball. I may not care who wins but I get to see the game played well. Not a circus act. Just good football.

In the NFC, Green Bay, Chicago, or Carolina would be OK with me.

In the AFC, the only 2 teams that I don't have an intense dislike for are Houston and Buffalo. I can't bring myself to root for any of the other teams. I will root for Pisspuke to get crushed.

Yesterday in my office, there was a mortgage rep from Pittsburgh conducting a training. He started the meeting by saying that he became an Ohio State fan, and then asked the roomful of Bengals and Browns fans if we would consider rooting for the Stealers. Needless to say, he got a very negative reaction. 😂

talk about people i am eager to not see on the active roster... he bothers me a lot less as a backup... he is a backup level guy... not sure i have ever seen a guy never improve over 3 years..

How he never got stronger was odd.

He was an OT in college .

Wonder if he'd been better there.

I think they'd need some help. Never looked exactly dominant, didn't even win their division and I can't imagine anyone at NFLHQ has any problem with the Pats returning to glory instead. In fact, whatever needs to happen for them to face each other might be a good bet. Might also want the Chargers to advance.. they could have an LA vs LA Super Bowl, you know they'd love that even if no one in the city cares about it.

I suppose I’m looking at it in NFL macroeconomic terms. Josh is already plastered all over commercials. Kids in Kokomo see those Pepsi commercials and demand that product and a Josh jersey. More GDP growth for the Shield. Not gonna get that with Drake Maye….yet anyway.

Of course, no one is going to out-shine Kermit. He’s still everywhere…even if the team isn’t.

yeah just notihng improved at all... how did this guy get an endorsement deal with a tractor finance place... when he was playing driving to the game from the frischs up the street (RIP) theyd play it on the radio.. "hey this is Cordell volson with the cincinnati bengals, blah blah finance tractors blah blah". someone there needs to be fired.
