We draft and develop so few players in this organization, it would be nice to keep them so we dont then waste draft picks on a replacement where the pick(s) could be better used elsewhere.

Problem seems majority of olineman are either pass or run lockers.

Not both..

Good at both and they're snatched up quick.

With JB they go with the former for good reason.

I don't believe Ossai gets 9 plus.

Risners largest contract was

2 yrs..2.7 per.

There's no way he gets that with the group of safeties coming out in the draft this year. He might be able to crack the very end of the top-10 safeties in this year's draft if you could toss him back in for a redraft. So with free agency, he's going to be somewhere in the range of the 15th - 20th best safety you can acquire this year. He's probably looking at around $5m tops.

A team would sign him for 5 mil to start ?

Who would take a chance on that he'd perform at a higher level than he did here?

Would they be satisfied with his status quo?

I think the red flags are too much to sign him.

No, they only gave up 2 TDs to the Arizona Cardinals so they're fine now.

Agree that Conway mostly sucks and I have never thought highly of her work. Chase Brown is under contract for at least another year, but an extension is possible. They have done so in the past at that position with Mixon, Gio, and Rudi. Personally I would prefer to keep Brown. He fits our offense well and has improved each year.

Yeah, he's earned an extension, unlike his draft classmates Battle and Iosivas. He'll probably be less than $10 mil on a new deal so add 3 or 4 years and play him until he's mangled.
