My number is zero. Unfortunately the team is more concerned with validating the decisions of the FO.

If they draft another edge rusher then we'll know how much confidence they have with them.

They would both need to improve a lot over 2025 to be considered starting caliber on a good NFL defense. We don't have a good NFL defense so perhaps they are starting for the Bengals in 2026. But if they were the backups, we'd be better off.

It seems likely the team will exercise the 5th year option on Murphy so that pretty much guarantees him a starting job, whether he deserves it or not.

Duke has said he wants more pass rush. That's more likely to come from an edge player than an interior guy. Duke will probably end up trying Bain as a 3T or some such.
