I think Denver wins the game with Nix there

Same, there were a couple of scrambles where he would've made a difference.

Dunno, Pats keep finding ways to win. They don’t have stars but they are very opportunistic. I like both defenses, for sure. Maye really hasn’t impressed lately but he has made plays in key situations, and it’s been enough.

One thing that def made an impression yesterday… all 4 teams have defenses that are strong up front, particularly at DT. Not just run stoppers but guys who can make TFLs and push the pocket, too. Makes a huge difference. Bengals don’t have that… at all.

Our starting DTs are backup quality and our intended 2nd string were IR & a healthy inactive for half the season.

Asking a draft pick, even a 10th overall, to step in and immediately fix that situation would be foolish but that's exactly what they did with Jenkins & Jackson and they were midround picks. I see no indications that Duke or the people actually making those decisions have learned anything from that mistake. All their draft picks are right on the cusp of greatness, you'll see!

Dont forget it is not so much about a mistake as it is a bad decision at the decision point with all the information in hand. So nothing to learn other than making a better decision at the decision point given we have all the needed inforamtion. See? Easy fix for this group of crack scouts.

Totally! It’s that damned, effing decision point.

But they cracked the code five years ago, so it can happen again! Amirite? Duke has a plan.

And that’s big, and that’s important, and we move forward that way.

P.S. … and we’ll go to war with what we have.

saying that sort of shit to a room full of people & keeping a straight face when called to account is Duke's real job

And the weak ass reporters not challenging him on the statement.

There’s currently a 66% chance that Collinsworth knob-swallows Patrick Mahomes during Super Bowl LX on Polymarket.

They took down the bets on him mentioning the Stealers when nobody was taking the under.
