On the other hand, it would be interesting to see what our offense would do against that Seahawks defense. Would be quite a challenge, but still would have loved to see it.

Do you want Joe Burrow to die? Is that what you want? A dead Joe Burrow?!

1/2 🥷 because Maye now holds the record for most postseason sacks after JB

Yeah, yeah, yeah...but Maye looked totally lost, scared, and like he didn't belong at all. If not Burrow, at least put a team out there with a veteran QB who can deal with pressure. I give the Seahawks D a lot of credit, but I still just wonder what would happen against a better offense.

Maye was molested

Burrow would have been too.

That screams Oline disparity .

That's just how dookie the AFC was this season. Of course Joe's a better QB and would've made shit happen.. at least until he got hurt again. Unfortunately that's the pattern his career has been following with the Bengals. Most QB's don't take 6 sacks and win. Bengals found the rare QB capable of doing that sometimes and decided to make that their game plan every week. The results have been as expected.

Resigning Joe Flacco is paramount.

Whether he wants to move on ..??..

Yeah it's really a question of whether he wants to embrace that back-up QB role. He's going to have the opportunity to start somewhere, at least in the short term.

He will probably clear the $200M mark for career earnings with this next contract. My guess is if he's not going to retire he wants to play.

scared

An overused term. For any player who has played in multitudinous games since grade school—and well familiar with heavy contact—the usage of “scared” just doesn’t fit

(Again..not pointing at you—I see this term used by media/fans everywhere)

Not going to Vulcan mind-meld his brain. But if he will want to do nothing but start, even the “bridge” and “short term” would seem to be as unfulfilling

Pittsburgh seems like a very real possibility, but Rodgers has the advantage of being a stupid asshole, making him a much better fit.

McCarthy now as HC virtually guarantees AR going back, I reckon

Patriots were 2nd in scoring and 3rd in yards per game last season.

The Seattle DB Weatherspoon said post game that the found a 'tell' in the Pats offense by the way the OL set up? Said they essentially knew the plays they were running.

I wonder if any of our olineman tipoff?

No idea. Reminded me of a game many moons ago between the then Redskins and Cowboys (may have been a playoff game, cant recall) where the Cowboys FB Robert Newhouse only put his mouthguard in during running plays and not passing plays and the Skins had noticed so they at least whether the play was a pass or run.

Might be more about the AFC having better QB's so by default they will pass more.

They only played 3 teams in the Top 10 Defenses and the toughest D they played, shocker and drum roll, the Browns at number 4. They played 10 teams ranked 14 or worse.

as far as memorabilia market goes..

several years later with inflation... Darnold signed SB football from fanatics is $700. years ago.. burrows were $999, even hit $1099 for a week from fanatics..

so the market says Darnold is 65-70% the player joe burrow is. is that seems about right...
